Tips on getting the girl...

Alright, another update for you guys. I went into school today and after 1st block I went to my locker obviously. The girl I wrote this thread about came by and started tapping me on the shoulder. We talked for maybe 3 minutes and then I went to my next class. I guess that is a good sign.

Also, about the sophomore that wants to go to the prom with me. My friend has cross country with her and they are good friends. She told him that she really wants to go to the prom. He asked her if she would go with me since I don't have a date yet. She said she definately would. I checked her out in math class. I can tell she likes me. Here is what I was able to gather.

I underestimated her looks. She is near perfect and very clean cut. Maybe 5'6" 110lbs with long blond hair. She doesn't wear too much makeup. She might be able to pull off a 9 (I had to), but nothing really stands out. She is more cute than hot. She does look a little bit young and inexperienced if you know what I mean.

Her personality is hit or miss. She doesn't smoke or anything and she is similar to me. However, she tries to act too mature for her age. She is very "proper" and kind of boring. All my friends are telling me to go with her. They are saying she is hotter and nicer than the other girl. I don't think she is though. Tommorrow is the last day for tickets, so I have to decide soon. I don't really want to go to the prom and blow $200 on some girl I don't like that much though. I might see her tonight since I am doing a project over a friend's house that lives next to her.

I also talked to the brown hair girl today. She asked me if I was going to the prom. I said I probably wasn't. She did one of those "Awww, why not"'s. I asked who she was going with and she didn't seem to like her date very much. I would have gone with her, but it's too late now. I am still more interested in the first girl.

I think I'll just try my luck with her. The problem is, she might have a BF. I know she was going with a senior for a little bit, but I thought she broke up with him. She seems to like me, and I haven't bragged about basketball or anything. I'll keep talking to her (kind of hard since I only see her in the hall) and maybe ask her to come to one of my games later.

BTW, I saw that the one guy didn't like the lyrics. I though that was some pretty good stuff to be honest. Is this more your style:

If a women thinks ur a wimp (i.e. you crack up when talking to her) ur screwed. Walk straight.

I took that as not alot of nervous laughter. Some people do that when they are scared and they definately don't project the type of image the poster was suggesting.

I don't know if I have ever seen somebody laugh when they are talking. However, I always smile when I am talking to somebody. That's not bad right? I just do a slight grin usually.

I got her to nearly pass out from laughing today. I was telling her what happened in advisory this morning. I guess I'll share the story here.

There is this real nerdy kid in my advisory. His glasses are huge and he still can't see too well. He sits at her table in math (assigned seats). For some reason, he never really liked her too much which I thought was just crazy. Well, he came in today and was like (nerdy voice) "She moved up a notch in my book. I saw her hand writing; it is so clear and big. She let me copy her notes since I couldn't see them off the board." I was cracking up. She is one of the hottest girls in the grade, but he likes her because of her handwriting. Lol.

There certainly is. Her personality is her best feature. The sophomore who wanted to go to the prom with me was arguably better looking, but I didn't like the way she acted so I didn't ask her. You got to admit it is pretty funny that the kid was turned on by her handwiritng out of all things.

Dude, where do you live? You gave her a 9.5 yet according to my scale she would be about a 5.5/6, if she is really that preppy and stuck up (although may be nice to you etc..), she really doesn't have the right to be. I guess I've been spoiled by the fact that chicks in california are for some odd reason much hotter than the rest of america on average (base on my obervation of chicks on this forum, with this thread being the sealer).

On that note though, she did have a senior BF for a while, but I think they are just friends now.

They started talking about how I was thinking about asking some girl out (her best friend), but decided not to. This should get her interest since they are talking about her best friend and make her interested in me because I decided not to ask her out. Hopefully, a discussion will start and they will mention how I am trying out for varsity next year and some other good stuff.

Yeah, I know it sounds kind of stupid. What do you think? After this, I'll probably try to approach her at lunch and start talking about music or something. Maybe I'll tell her that I'll burn a cd for her or something.

I am not really looking to "score" right away with her. I just want to establish a nice relationship first. Like I said before, even if it doesn't work, other girls will most likely be interested in me since she is so popular. My parents are very overprotective anyway which is a whole other issue.

We have PSSA testing tommorrow, so maybe I'll try to get on the same bus as her and start talking during the 30 minute ride. She is always with her friends and I am pretty well aquainted with them.

Well, what do you guys think? Any tips from the pros here? I'll give reps of course.

Hmm, at my HS, juniors can only go with seniors and juniors. Only the seniors can take sophomores. Apparently juniors are guests, like the senior class council invites them. To the post two above mine, she is the blonde on the left in that pic. I wouldn't touch the girl on the right. I am impressed how well things have been going with her. I bet I could seriously pick up any girl in my school. I learned quite a few tips over the past week. Here is a quick summary:

-Be Confident
-Make and keep eye contact
-Don't compliment them too much
-Don't apologize unless you really screw up
-Don't put her on a pedastool
-Just be yourself

Basically, you have to be a man. Don't confuse this with being a jerk like the movies would have you believe. Don't use any lame lines or anything. Just talk to them like they're one of your buddies. Let them become interested in you. For example, I told this girl "Yo I gotta run, but you seem pretty cool. We should hang out sometime." Before you know it, she offered me her phone number.

I practiced my pickup skills this weekend and I am getting really good at it. I was in the mall with my 2 brothers and my mom (I know, lol). There was a very hot blonde who looked like she was waiting for her friend to come out of a store. My older brother who is married noticed I was checking her out. After some convo, I bet him that I could get her number in 5 minutes. She looked like she was maybe 17 and was gorgeous. Here is how it went:

Me: (looking at her bag) So, I see you shop at Abercombrie and Fische.
Her: Sometimes (kind of nervous)
Me: I actually modeled for them for a while.
Her: Really? (excited)
Me: Yeah that is me on the front right there.
Her: (sees some guy who is like 25 on the bag and starts cracking up)
Me: Aww, I swear I was on there yesterday.
Her: I'm sure (smiling)
Me: So do you have a name?
Her: I am sorry, it's Elizabeth. My friends call me Beth.
Me: Sup, I am (my name), but my friends call my God.
Her: (chuckling)
Me: Well Beth, I gotta run but you seem like a fun person. We should hang out some time.
Her: Definately. Her is my cell #.
Me: Alright, I'll try to hit you up sometime. Later

It's amazing what some confidence can do. I am probably not going to call this girl because she lives kind of far from me, but I got her number pretty quick and she seems interested in me. You just have to play it cool and be kind of cocky. Never compliment her because hot girls are used to guys hitting on them 24/7. In fact, say something negative about her. Here is a snippet of my conversation with a girl the other day.

Me: So are you some kind of health freak since you are a cheerleader in all.
Her: Not at all. My coach actually said I need to lose 5lbs for the season. Do you believe that?
Me: He is out of his mind. You have to lose at least 15lbs. (She weighs like 110 tops, lol)
Her: You're a jerk (playfully punches my shoulder)

Just try it, it works well. It's basically the opposite of your instincts for most guys. Speaking of that, the group of girls in the pic were approaching me the other day and 2 of them said hi. I was thinking of all the posts in this thread and blurted out "Sup bitches." Just screw it, you're only young once. The worst they can do is say they have a BF or something and not go out with you.
