TiTAN and DSR? (under Windows Vista)

I thought the most recent driver (344.48) rolled out DSR support for cards below the latest 9xx series. Yet, after installing the driver I don't see any options for DSR in either the NV control panel (general or program specific settings) or Gforce experience (where you supppsedly may have the option of selecting a higher resolution than your monitor supports --- 1080p in my situation --- and the software automagically downsamples to 1080p).

So what am I missing?...thanks.

BTW: as noted above 1080p panel, wih Vista sp2, 8 gigs ram, Titan x 2 sli.

click the wrench next to optimize (or optimize - cant remember) on a game in geforce experience. click resolution drop down and scroll all the way to the top.

NV Control Panel -> Managed 3D settings -> Global Settings tab -> DSR Factors -> Select as many as you want to play with and apply. Those higher resolutions will then appear in the GFE menu as mentioned above and in-game. You can actually just skip the GFE completely.

did both as suggested above --- nothing worked, must have been a bad driver install.

will reinstalll and see how that goes. Thanks for the tips.

Yeah, check to make sure the driver installed correctly. In the Nvidia Control Panel, click System Information in the lower left-hand corner. Driver version should be the first line...

I have Titans and I don't have any DSR options either. I even ran DDU in safe mode before installing the new drivers.

Just to let folks here know---> According to some posters over at the nvidia forums it seems that DSR is not supported under Vista (please don't start ranting about using Vista, I know already) --- but I didn't see Vista mentioned as a limiting factor with respect to DSR in the release notes for these drivers.

So that could be the issue I am having as opposed to simply bad driver install and/or DSR/SLI incompatibiity -- will check more on this when I get home from work.

That would be quite a slap in the face, to Titan owners that shelled out all that money, if it wasn't supported on Titan for some reason.

DSR works fine with my Titan Z. Something must be up with your drivers

That web page doesn't list any Kepler or Fermi models, it needs to be updated.

Desktop GPUs supporting DSR: all Maxwell, Kepler, and Fermi-based desktop GPUs using 344.48 or later drivers.

The issue for me is that I don't think DSR is supported under Windows Vista --- I think that's why I don't have DSR enabled with my Titans?....but I can't find any documentation about this from Nvidia.

never had any problems with Win Vista/64 -- not worthwhile for me to upgrade to 7 and don't like what I heard about 8.1.

will probably go for Win 10 next year.

If DSR is unsupported in Win Vista, not a big loss.

Yeah I'd wait for Windows 10 at this point no need in upgrading to Windows 7 (ignore 8/8.1) just for DSR support in the nVidia drivers.
