I'd would like to get a second Titan but in the country where I live there aren't any used Titans for sale. I check every couple of days. Truth be told I should have expected that, a card that cost as much as average monthly salary(not to mention median) won't get many adopters. I've only ever seen one used Titan on sale and it sold for a similar price that 780 aftermarket cards were going for. In retrospect I should have just bought that used Titan that showed on ebay's polish equivalent, but at the time I wasn't really thinking about upgrading my computer.
Do you think NV should just cut its price to 650$? It's a shame that NV does not support mixed SLI, then I wouldn't have that problem at all. If AMD can do it, why can't NV? I really dislike that they artificially block features, just for their twisted marketing campaign, like having NV PsyX card with AMD card as main rendering card blocked. I would just buy an aftermarket 780 that would have the same performance as my Titan, the only thing I would loose would be 3GB of memory which doesn't come in handy unless you want to very heavily mode some games. Then there's also that DP compute, but I don't use it at all, that's probably the reason why Titan still costs as much as it does. Still,if you can make work AMD's card + NV's card for PsyX, are there any drivers hack that would allow mixed SLI to work? I highly doubt it, I'm 99.8% sure that I would have heard about it by now. The reason I want to add another are performance drops in metro:LL even at high quality no AA, a drop from 60fps to mid 45 is VERY noticeable and even 50 is noticeable. It's going to happen in a lot of games What's even worse it that it's going for about 50% of its original value after just 8 months, so I don't consider selling it.
ps. How much a used titan costs in the US?
