You're postulating, which is fine, but without actual numbers no one knows.
7970's, even the super clocked models, are much better values at the moment. Unfortunately Titan just doesn't offer anything over my current set up to make me consider getting one, and I'd actually lose a lot of functionality. Add a whole lot of nothing for a high price and the suggestion to buy one becomes ludicrous. I'm amazed that 15 months after I got my 7970 there's still nothing to upgrade too. This is the longest I've ever used one video card.
ATi/AMD is shit (I can only assume mostly because of their drivers, since I'm an optimist). They only thing they have over Nvidia at the moment is that their cards print free money and Nvidia's cards print significantly less free money.
If these cards in my sig didn't print me free money I would be on a 460 still .
