Found my password....I apparently never even had an account.

Sure, I think I can manage some of that.

Also, I think this my EVGA Titan has no coil wine, but does have a low ASIC score of 73%, but good enough for 2nd place Hall of fame on 3dmark.

What are we testing at 1440p?

Better than my 67%. Hmm any game you got + benches would be good--Titan OC (air) vs 680M SLI with ov/oc. I just ordered my 2nd Titan.. can't wait!!

That's too funny. I kept trying to recover my password the other day, using the three email addresses that I have used for the past 10 or more years and none were recognized. I was almost certain that I had an account here, but apparently not. I must have visited a million times but only read information and never posted.

Just did a quick search before lunch.

Newegg - Sold Out
Amazon - Cheapest new is $1200, for the EVGA Superclocked edition though.
TigerDirect - Still don't sell them?
SuperBiiz - 2 models available, both need "Request a Quote". Still not sure what this is...
NCIX US - 2 Zotac on hand, 7 Asus in-transit, EVGAs sold out.
EVGA Store - All out of stock

Judging by NCIX US's shipment of only 7 Asus, I'm beginning to think the replenishing stock isn't high.

If you order from ncix it shows as in stock but it's not. So back to searching for a titan.

There's an open box Titan at my local Micro Center for $900. Paypal me the price of the card + money paypal gets + shipping costs + tax + a $100 Adam fee and I'll pick it up and ship it out to you. If you want one of the three unopened new Titans there, then add $100 to that.

LOL

Gold thread. The emotional need to believe the fantasy Titans are flying off the shelves continues.

They need to open up a Fry's or MicroCenter near here. Sounds like they have decent prices for being an actual B&M store.

I already installed the titan, and I have this rattling noise, but not under load but at idle. Very annoying. What's worse I can't return this card. I'll spare you why because just writing about it is going to make me angry. I only tested one game so far and no improvement in fps over 6990 Quadfire at all. On one positive note 30fps feels more smooth but my previous m-gpu set-up never dipped that low in this particular game. It goes away when it's under any kind of load, even scrolling the page in firefox. Is there any way to increase 2D clocks? Maybe that would help.

nVidia's new killer feature: rattling coils to help you get jiggy with it.

@Lepton, there should be a way to force higher clocks I assume using AB maybe? Last nV card I had was a GTX460 though so I'm not sure about any quirks of the newer nV cards.

And I can't even return this POS. It's not as obnoxiously loud as my 7970s but in contrast it's at idle where I spent most of my time. It's driving me crazy. And I spent 25% more on this Titan then on two 7970s. I Should have stayed with Cayman QuadFire. It starts when power monitor in MSI AB drops below 20% or so.

Change the setting in the NV control panel for Power management from Adaptive to Prefer Maximum Performance. This will keep it from down clocking.

Edit: I thought this would work, but it doesn't.

Edit 2: Turn on K-boost with Precision Tool. That locks voltage and clocks even in 2D.

I downloaded Evga Precision Tool but I can't find that K-boost feature, where is it?

Updated: never mind, I found it. Turning it on crashed my computer.

Go back to stock clocks then turn it on. After that start playing with the gpu clock offset.

Yeah, it works. It makes the fan a lot louder since I can't get it below 30% manually. But it took care of the rattle. It still seems like a crude method to take care of the rattle especially when we consider that this card cost as much as a whole PC. I don't know why I splurged as much as I did. Worst of all I'm not completely satisfied
