Still the available or not available issue?

I have updated my board with the latest BIOS and now it is good and complete.

You know there are better boards out there for half the price. Sapphire makes good mobos. Running my opty 170 at 2.8ghz fully stable as we speak.

no doubt there are other boards out there that will do the job for less, but i've had nothing but good experiences with Asus so i'm waiting for this motherboard to be reasonably priced.

as for being a better board, that's up to the individual.

Yeah paying over $200 for a mobo that performs no better than my chaintech Nf4 that I bought for $68 is not a great use of money. That said I used to spend thousands of $ for race car parts for use on a street car- ended up being insanely fast but a gigantic waste of money so to each their own.....(and yeah I know the Chaintech is not SLI).

A non SLI board compared to that of SLI X16?

Of course it is very wasteful to spend thousands of money for race car parts for use on a street car. I have never been able to understand why people would do that.

Quote taken from MCS forums:

"It appears that the AN8-SLI is EOL (End Of Life). We are setting up the AN8 32X to replace it today. Essentially this is the 16x2 solution rather than the older 8x2 solution. Not that it really makes a different in practice."

Thats pretty good, Capt. Is that a stable 2.75? How is it holding up in games or have you had a chance to run some games in O/C mode yet?

Sounds great Capt. I heard today the CM-830 is availble at some stores now. Now if I can just get this renovation done here at the house I can get a build order in. Happy New Years to you and yours.

I am pretty happy with mine as well. I can get my Opty 170 up to 2650 on 1.35Vcore. The highest stable I could get on my old EVGA board was 2400 at the same vcore. Only the mobo was changed, all of the other hardware is the same.

Any of you guys who have this board have a working line-out ? (line green middle port on the rear?)

Don't get any sound at all on that the line out port (which is supposed to be the front speaker port).. All the other speaker ports have sound..

Weird thing is that the realtek/asus took detects that something is plugged into the jack.

DAMNIT I WANT MINE. As Crism said, NewEgg did get them in stock (I was actually doing the same thing and refreshing just like him when I read his post...), and I ordered it, but stupid NewEgg wanted me to call to confirm it, then they wouldnt pick up their phones, and my order ended up cancelled! I am sooooo mad.

Anyway what I wanted to know is if anyone has gotten one with WIFI. I've been searching for one with the WIFI option for what seems like forever now, and have never seen anyone with them in stock. I kinda wanted one just because it would be handy and it's not that much more... I was ready to settle for one without it, but now that my order got cancelled I'm wondering if it's a sign and I should continue to wait. Just wanted to know if these MOBOs actually exist or not and I should just go for one without WIFI. Thanks!

I'm guessing the WiFi version is harder to find. I dont think most people are interested in it so not much demand for it.

I have been requesting it from Asus and many other sites. I have since cancelled 2 orders since they could not come up withn the a8n32-sli deluxe/wifi board. I even called their Asus salesman rep from here and they did not know when or where it could be sold!!!!
talk about lame. Asus get your act together!!!! I wanted the built in wifi for convienence and to save a pci slot. They have it for the pentium so why the heck not for amd?

I have looked up and down for a picture of it and finally have it. I also have the web site that has the pic. It has it for the amd cpu and pentium.

Yeah, but the Wifi is most likely connected interaly through the PCI BUS. In theroy you could have 4 pci slots in place of 3.

So in a way it is occupying a slot.
