OK, I got the silver unit, very nice but it shows fingerprints and smears. I will need a case soon. Back panel is flimsy, wont click back on properly.
You can NOT use a prepaid SIM with this thing, I just tried. So instead of 30 dollars a month it looks like I will be spending 65 or so.
It didnt come with an SD card but 32GB onboard is plenty.
SUPER fast, I havent waited on anything. All my accounts were set up in a couple minutes. Gives me UMA calling by default whenever I connect to Wifi. Has the new Notification screen, with all the power buttons at the top.
If I am at the bottom of a list or page, I can double tap the top of the body to return instantly. It recognizes when my face is looking at it and wont disable or dim the screen. Has options for quick, premade home screens with all the common stuff. I dont feel the need to customize anything right now, its pretty much already setup the way I like.
Came with white glossy accessories, I guess they are trying to compete with apple. Earbuds are OK. Onboard loudspeaker is great. Camera is awesome. Can do a really fast burst mode, HDR, and basic editing with the stylus.
Clipboard works well with either text or scrapbook using the pen. Thats how I copied my password to log into the site (from my hotmail account).
Plenty of settings to fiddle with, I can enable/disable LED, tones, and vibrate for pretty much anything. Lots of ringtones and vibrate styles onboard, and I can download more. Comes with 4 nice fonts to choose from, I can download more. Plenty of really great wallpapers, live wallpapers and widgets already loaded. Nothing slows this thing down at all.
Apparently I get a shitload of cloud storage free from Samsung, and easy syncing of calendar, ToDo list, media and other crap.
Screen is absolutely gorgeous, I gotta go do some HD youtube now.
