We are all familiar with Smoke, except a few new team mates.
I was on late last night, trying to up my post count .....half asleep..........When I got a PM from Smoke.

Here is a link to The Henry Ford Hospital, VIP Division where you can see what this procedure is all about. I would highly recommend this to any of you that ever get diagnosed with prostate cancer. IMHO, you need to at least give it your highest consideration.
I have good news to report.
The surgery went off without a hitch and there were no signs of other malignancies in any of the adjoining tissues. My brother is already walking laps up and down the hospital hall.
Some of you are probably wondering why you have not been bothered lately with messages from "Smoke". The reason is while here in Detroit I am using my brother's AOL internet service to gain access to the web (at < 56K). Since AnandTech blocks AOL I have not been able to make any forum posts. Strangely I can read and send PMs. This will remain the situation until late in the day, January 18th.
I can receive and send PMs (as I mentioned) here on the AT Forums and you can always contact me on the Deception.Net Forum.

You know I was thinking it would be really nice if he got an email or two from you guys, my TeAm Mates. I've told him all about TeAm AnandTech. He has really been amazed at how I've become so attached to my on-line family. I know he would really get a kick out of showing the emails to his wife and children.

I have been reading the responses..........all are supportive.......but!, I have only found ONE confirmed reply to his request.
This is a time to respond to a man who has given nothing, but, selflessly to the team as a whole.
NOT to mention to another who is in need of encouragement and moral support.
So, If you guys respond to Smoke's request, just post a "as good as done"
And we all will know . No one need be embareassed here.
We are all here for the same basic reason " To answer questions that will ensure the future of all mankind"
