Ive been playing poker online now for about 8 months and its great!!

Ive used a few 3rd party programs like texas calculatem and crap like that.


My friend told me about poker-edge, so i tried it today and im not realy impressed. THe layout is ok but its pretty complicated to read all that info.

Anyway i was wondering what program you guys use, a database oriented program or website.

Theres got to be something better then poker edge...

you can also buy databases of hands (but that's boderline) or take the time to datamine yourself.

I like poker-edge for the fact that it uses a central database, but it lacks sit-n-go stats witch kinda sucks

I don't use poker-edge but I do believe a number of people on Partypoker have been informed that further used of that program is prohibited at Partygaming. Party does take random screenshots of your screen and monitors what other programs you use

I've also used pokerstove to run hot and cold simulations. Twodimes.net also to determine my equity. I'd also be very wary about poker programs, as some people I've talked to online have had their accounts hacked for 10's of thousands and some believe that many 3rd party programs contain a trojan or keylogger.

pattern mapper is definitely the best bang for the buck. As they can overcome doomswitches and cashout curses.

My brother is into online poker on PartyPoker and some other one with a blue screen, he uses lots and lots of macro programs that cheat for him and fill his fake-money account with free chips or something. I'm not suggesting anyone do such a thing, in fact I have reported him for it purely because he's so pathetic, but they didn't ban him.

He does this over about sixty accounts, which he brags about constantly and I'm sick of doing virus scans on his machine to clean up after all these damn clicking programs, does anyone know some way I can get him banned? :| Really getting tired of it now.

He does collude with his friends via the poker chat, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger, and voice chat. It's absurd, and sad.

Yeah, I reported this too. Still nothing.

Sorry for the off-topic folks, I just fear my brother is turning into some kind of sad mutant of a compulsive gambler who is addicted to cheating for fake money.

theres no physical deck to limit the odds, so whats the point. its a scam
