Ok.....because I was tripping out recently about it. Smoked a lot of pot, and I was holding out for like 30 minutes and still couldn't finish. Honestly, I think it's time to lay off the pot for me, I'd rather be a jackrabbit in bed than a slow ass tortoise.

I don't mean to sound like the ass here but there scientificly nothing harmful in weed. Onlt the SIDE EFFECTS are deadly.

Smoking regular cigs kills you, not 1 person has died from pot ever. (Well from problems in the weed, not counting the sideeffects)

Ok, im not going to flat out disagree with you that pot is not bad, because for some people it is, but you should not paint everyone with the same brush, because all people are different. It sounds like your brother has some underlying issues that would be there with or with-out the pot, and that the drug usage is just a symptom, but I'm not a doctor so I can't say for sure.

I don't really like pot, I think its a waste of money, it stinks, and it makes people less interesting to hang out with (when they're stoned anyway) -- However, not everyone reacts the same to it, I know some people who totally vegitate while they're stoned and others who act kinda hyper. It all depends on your personality and brain chemistry. Obviously, your brothers brain chemistry is fvcked. That doesn't mean pot is bad, that means your brother shouldn't be smoking it.

Im sorry, that really does suck.. lower your dosage or wait longer... My time definetly improves stoned, but If i mix weed + excessive alcohol in one night, its not even worth trying.

Is it your brothers fault that he does drugs, or is it drugs' fault that he does drugs?

You cannot "cure" drug use by making drugs against the law. You must address the underlying issues that cause people to use drugs.

The cannabis didn't make him "...tried more and more of different sh!t..". That was his choice.

Drug use needs to be looked at as a symptom, not a cause.

Actually it does. It's called canaboid schizophrenia and my friend's room mate this year had a complete breakdown and was diagnosed with it. He was always pretty chill, just he smoked a lot, but towards the end of first semester he was smoking like ALL day everyday, then one day my friend comes back to the room the kid is sitting there in a corner rocking back and forth reading the bible and saying how he has to repent and that weed is no substitute for having God in your life. He stayed up for 4 days straight like that, just eating potato chips and drinking cokes, finally my friend got the RA to call the kids family and they came and took him, enrolled him in a psychiatric hospital for evaluation, and now he is living with them and no longer attending college. Not sayin that will happen to most, or even a good number of people who do it, but it is possible, I don't smoke/do drugs because my body is really important to me and I like to keep cut + I'm working my way up to doing an ironman (been doing some sprint and olympic distance tri's in competition and some half ironman's for training) and there is just no way I can do that and be on drugs/alcohol.
