to Klipsch Promedia V.2-400 owners

just got my set of speakers...they sounds great..

i have a question.....Where's the power button???

is there really no power button on these babies.. what do you guys do? kinda irritating to me cuz i gotta leave them on even when i wont be using them.

there is none, they auto detect the signal and shut down when there is no signal from the soundcard.

I know these are powerful, but how's the surround sound? Are they 5.1 or 4.1? Thanks for the help.

does that green LCD light go off for you? or is it still on when you turn off your computer?

No the led will still stay on the the audio preamp and postamp will shut itself down. Do the knob settings to your liking and leave it alone afterwards. The only time you need to unplug it is if you need to unplug the speaker cables from the soundcard.

The sub should in theory be cool when my computer is off then.. right?? Cause mine seems like it never turns off cause it's still warm (this is after about 8hrs, had to go to sleep ).

That warmth comes from the power supply that is housed in the subwoofer.

The power supply never shuts down its the pre and post amp that stops drawing power when its not in use.
