Well, it looks like we're all safe and well on here (ATOT UK'ers, that is). I was travelling round London on the M25 when I heard the news on the radio, and then when I came back down the M1 from Bedford, the traffic was insane. Took me an extra hour and a quarter to get back to the office on top of a two-hour journey; everyone was pouring out of London and heading for either home or elsewhere. I don't think I've been in such bad road conditions for many years; driving rain, hundreds of cars and police everywhere, unmarked cars, marked cars, vans... even the Military Police were out and gunning it through the traffic. It looked like they'd summoned up as many police as possible from a rather large area.
I knew this was coming, and I think we all did in a small way.
However, we've been dealing with the IRA for many years, so it's not as shocking for us. Still, sympathies to those who died today.
One last thing: I don't think this is the end of it. My personal feelings are that this was a warning, as the loss of life was low compared to the other AQuaeda attacks. I think they're planning something bigger.
Lord help us all.
