While this is an O.K. price, where is the Hot Deal?
We need a link to get them at the same price Untamo is getting them.

The rules here are pretty simple, and this is bull.
Give us the link to your supplier.

You don't see me posting that you can get a VisionTek GeForce2 GTS 32meg DDR
at ubid.com for $144, (equivelent to Untamo's $174 card) because it is an
auction site that dealers sell new products from, and auction site posts
are not allowed. I did get 2 cards there yesterday, at 2 seperate times, so
maybe I'll sell them in the Hot Deals forum too! Even though I was able to
back up this auction price by getting 2 on 2 seperate occasions, posts not
allowed are posts not allowed, even if it is a Hot Deal.

If you are going to use Hot Deals to sell your goods (reputably of course),
then at least make it a Hot Deal.

This will open the door to a lot of others that might not have the good reputation that untamo has and we won't have a leg to stand on when they say "Well, you guys let untamo do it then I should be allowed to do it!"

Nothing personal Untamo but just looking further down the road.

I frequent the "FS/FT" forum and I can vouch for Untamo. I have seen nothing but positive remarks when his name is mentioned. This is a hot deal if you need the card and can't get it for anywhere near his price. The precedent was set when Decoy, also a great trader, was allowed to sell the same cards in this forum. My $.02

Okay, now which part is not understood here? Now if Untamo had gotten one of his friends to post the website, then it might be more legit. IMHO this thread belongs in the for sale/for trade forum. I believe this due to, A)The post originator is selling items, whether he has a website or not is irrelevant. 2) Having multiple items would make him a dealer and wow looky-there it says NO DEALERS.

Having said this I can't understand why he doesn't get flamed the way sunnycell did. Where were you to defend sunnycell?

its a good deal for the geforce2. the linked ubid one above is a visiontek and is cheaper. the creative geforce2 on ubid was going for 234 i think. compare that one to the one untamo is selling.

O.K., 1 more time. This is not a hot deal, but is instead a decent price on an OEM card.

The Creative card for sale at ubid is "FULL RETAIL", so sure it costs $60 more
than Utamo's OEM card. You can not compare Utamo's OEM Creative card to this. His
card does however compare to the $144 Visiontek card, any perhaps his is not
quite as good. According to newest reviews, it looks like the Creative GF2 GTS
cards are a little slower than all the rest of the GF2 GTS cards.

Man a few of you guys are on some serious crack rock.. I think we can all agree on one.

Untamo has been selling these cards for about 2 months now with hundreds of satisfied customers, me included. In fact, he sent me 2 cards instead of one. Now I can't guarantee this for you, but it happened to me. (sent the extra back, of course)


Besides, Decoy was posting a "hot deal" selling his cards here for MONTHS, and at a slightly higher price, and no one complained. Untamo never posted here to keep the competition down, that's all.

They are OEM GeForce2 cards at a good price, shipped via USPS Priority mail.. no fraud here.
