Tom Brokaw's last day as an NBC anchor is December 1st

Brokaw seems like a decent guy, but how strange is it that he could sustain a long, successful career in news broadcasting without being able to speak clearly? That guy permanently sounds as though he has 87 marbles in his mouth.

I :heart: Tom Brokaw and I'm sad to see him go. I hear he will still be doing documentaries for NBC and covering special events or something like that. The voice is the best part

Dan Rather, on the other hand...I'll miss him, but only for his insane ramblings at 3 a.m. on election night.

Tom Brokaw's nephew was my one of my roommates in the Army. Nice guy, very tall. I never got to meet Tom, of course - how many high-profile uncles actually visit their grown nephews at Army installations?

I lost touch with him, but it looks like he's a professor now.
