I'm playing on console. There are a lot of side missions to do. They all vary by some point too. I spent a couple hours last night just doing side missions to gather supplies for the wings. To actually unlock the wings you have to do the first 3 story missions which I haven't done yet. Takes longer to level up too I feel.besides the line thing, how is it compared to beta?
is there a lot of pve type content?
Cod is a fast paced in your face first person shooter with the same save the world story evey year. This is more like destiny but with better story and missions. This game looks really uninspired imo... what sets it apart from something like COD?
This may be a side note but you guys think my specs below will be able to run this game fine?
I didn't play destiny, so that doesn't mean anything to me. Is it basically Far Cry with a bunch of people around?

That's only the first 3 side missions. There are other missions later that involve building your base wings and from there everything you do is about upgrading your character/base. Most of the good loot though will be in the dark zone and for that i recommend going in with a decent team.I gave it a shot last night... it feels like a non-game to me because there is very little to do. I started it up, then I wandered around, get to a mission, kill 4-5 guys and call in the cavalry to pick up whatever food or drugs I 'rescued' then go to another mission. People weren't kidding about everyone being a bullet sponge. Blow a stick explosive next to someone and they still take 4-5 rounds to go down.
Probably doesn't help that I'm not used to these types of games but it came with my new PC... I probably should have traded the code for something like Xcom2.
Installing now. I was going to get the gold edition, but I figured since this game is so multiplayer oriented (and I never do multiplayer), it would be a waste. I'm just going to play the campaign, and if the DLC is good, I'll probably get those too..
But not if they are multiplayer focused.
The whole game is multiplayer focused, so I imagine the DLC would be as well.
Is it? Outside of the dark zone it can be done in single player.

The guns in this game are like nerf guns. I watched a friend play a bit on PS4 via share play and that's the impression I got. He said it is highly annoying that headshots don't seem to do anything extra. Not sure whether he missed or what.
The PvP focus keeps me heavily away plus I don't want to devote any time to something in the MMO genre anymore.
