I'm playing on the PC, and I do have one problem - whenever I 'matchmake' to do a mission on Hard, there tend to be some players that really do not belong in the group.
I'm playing on the PC, and I do have one problem - whenever I 'matchmake' to do a mission on Hard, there tend to be some players that really do not belong in the group. But when I joined the 'social chat' (I had to change a setting), there's so much spam in different languages in that chat that I had no chance of finding a group my level.
I am following along and debating about getting this game on PC. Used to play the Battlefield games and really had a lot of fun until BF4, and did not even buy the last one. So, I guess awaiting more opinions and seeing if players are getting there moneys worth and enjoying it or not. I know so far it is single or multi -player, but to enjoy it, is it required to play multi- player? Is it a "must" to use a mic or do you just not fit in at all without one?
Is that the Madison square hospital mission? I don't remember a stadium mission in the beta. It was the hospital one and the tech wing mission which involved a bunch of guys with flamethrowers. I remember the missions getting harder the with the more people you had in a group. I did the hospital one by myself.Mine's clamum.
Decided to pick it up, haha. I dunno why, but I swear the Stadium mission when you get to Manhattan is really fucking hard now. I played through it twice during beta and I never died once. I died about six times now and just gave up cause I got pissed off. What the fuck? There were two special bosses too; for a solo player? Guh. I have an AR-15 with a 4x optic and I can pick off the first wave and a half, but they just overpower me.
Are you referring to skill level or something else? Because you can't really filter by skill level other than friends only groups.
Well, I set a mission to 'hard', and then click on matchmake. I tried the one with flamethrowers the last night and the minimum recommended level was 6, I think, maybe 7. I went in at 7, there was another 6, a 6, and a 4. One six disconnected immediately and the difficulty didn't lower that I could see, and we kept getting slaughtered. It felt like I was the only one doing any damage, and others were simply hiding in cover waiting - once in a while buffing. It was a completely inappropriate group - I simply quit.

Enemies go up to lv32 in challenge mode.
Massive screwed up loot ratios at launch, now they reduced rates but there are people with millions of regular credits and thousands of phoenix credits. I've seen people with 200k+ DPS and maxed out gear.
I'm surprised at how well this actually runs on my GTX 580 1.5 gbs in SLI (at 1080p with lots of things turned down). I got it because I couldn't wait to build a new PC to play this game - and it's a lot of fun. How does one go about (say I'm going to play for 4-5 hours) trying to find a group to get a couple of missions done and roam around a bit? I got into the game on my friend's PS4 and I guess it was easier because he has a very active friends list, whereas no one on my Steam friends list plays. (I play EU timezones...for anyone interested).
There are also people who have put in 100+ hours in the last week.
While DPS isn't everything, it is the single most relevant stat.
DZ shouldn't be split based on level but rather based on DPS and HP.
Until they address the balance, I'm staying away from DZ.
