Going into the DZ solo, while functional, is not recommended in any form. Keep your head on a swivel. Keep better track of the human players over the AI. Trying playing in DZ03 over the other zones. You'll find a lot more trolls in DZ01-02 and only high end people in DZ05-06.

I was in your position about two weeks ago. I'm at around 180k/65k/10k now. You hit a plateau with purples (I have a mint sniper - got really lucky there) but doing the dailies is important for the phoenix credits. I started farming those on hard and before you knew it I was in full golden level equipment - with the vector I rolled (I bought the blueprint) I began to farm the DZ a bit, but then shifted to farming Lexington on challenging. In a good group, it's a nice source of epic gear, and phoenix credits. You'll get the gear - you just have to commit the time to do so, and to gear smart as well.

when you say farm hard, you mean just keep running the missions? you can't farm the bosses like you could on other places, right?

i bought the liberator blueprint and made that last night. that gave me about an 8k boost in dps.

now i have like 8 phoenix credits. been playing with Pixelsquish alot. I think w do well together.

so i should be focusing on dps or skill points, not health? does no one tank or is health really not important? Seems like I die easily enough with 83k hp, so going less would seem wrong, lol.

There's no reason to have a tank build at this point. The liberator is an ok gun though I find its talents lacking and it kicks like an angry mule, hard to land consistent shots. Good starter weapon though. I find armor to be more important than health overall. Was just running power plant challenging daily with a friend, he's at 80k hp and the shotgun guys were 1 shotting him. I'm only at 52k hp but armor capped and I can take a round just fine. Same with snipers on challenging.

As for farming hard I mean your dailies. If you can complete challenge modes I suggest starting with Lincoln tunnel. No shot gunners, no heavies. Makes for an easy way to get phoenix credits. We usually run challenging lexington over and over for phoenix credits. Pretty easy once you get gear. My goal is to have all of the patterns purchased and close to the pc cap (1000) by the time incursions hit.

Yep, it's all just a giant time sink and figuring out how to maximize that invested time.

I do feel this game has made many of the same mistakes that diablo 3 made at release. Terrible crafting system, massive artificial gating through crafting mat farming (and div tech, why of why div tech), uninspired gear and broken gear talents. Every piece of armor has some form of broken talent on it, such as the status effect mask. And I swear that the knee pads with the 25% item find is reversed. I get far more HE drops without wearing the paid I have with that on it. Really wish the devs would give more concrete answers to how the stats are suppose to work.

I would also like to see some more gear options that changes how the game or talents are used, similar to some of the legendaries in D3. Build diversity would be good for this game.

There also really needs to be a reason to power plant and consulate on challenging outside of when they are the dailies. Farming lincoln or lexington over and over get a little boring.

Also, and I know I'm in the minority here, I would like to see a difficulty above challenging. Far above challenging. If only for pain and bragging rights. Something that I can continue to strive for. I want something where I get slaughtered and I have to claw for every inch of progression. I want something that makes me use all of my consumables, something that makes me beg for a mob to drop just one grenade, any grenade, because I am completely out. When I barely feel a difference between hard and challenging there needs to be something else. I hope incursions are that but I also don't think that would be too fair to the overall population.

Not really. The best you could probably do on solo is general assembly. You can get up to 9 pc in there with the 3 bosses. Good way to solo farm crafting mats as well. I just sent you a friend request. The wife and I are farming lexington right now if you want in.

is there an exploit on how to farm the bosses in lexington and lincoln tunnel. i knew how to do the hospital, russian consulate and police academy, but two of those are now useless.

Nope, we just run them over and over for pc and crafting mats.

Ubi also stated they would start banning accounts for anyone found exploiting anything after Friday, 04/01/16, for what its worth.

i re-crafted my vector and got another 10k in DPS which was nice.

what's annoying is that the challenging mission HE drops are never gun mods, just armor stuff. and why 3 currencies? regular credits become virtually useless shortly after you hit level 30.

and why to skins take up pack space?

can't wait for the add-ons to start arriviing.

ive run lexington probably at least 60 times and she occasionally drops HE and its not limited to armor, i know ive gotten a gun and a few gun mods. the award for finishing the mission is always an HE armor.

Are there any missions for which the challenging reward is always an HE weapon? That might be a good way to farm for a good HE sniper...

The reward is not a weapon, but hornet from the russian consulate mission has dropped me 3 AR's before.

I agree. Problem is my dislike of random grouping in any game. Yeah, I know I know. This is an MMOish type game. So I have been sticking to PVE for the most part. But I have ventured out there and the experience is craptastic at best just like the Beta. The pvp idea is unique but really dont think it works out well. Hopefully going forward it can be tweaked or different forms of pvp can be created.

Same I'm on the console and I barely go to the DZ since I usually don't find anyone decent to group with.

Both Hornet(Consulate) and Barrett(Event Center) have sniper rifles on their loot tables. Hornet also has ARs and LMGs. I'm not sure about the other bosses.
