Apparently there is a glitch that lets people finish CM Incursion the easy way. Looking for details, not sure how it works.

So, I've got what seems like an odd question. Is it worth completing General Assembly before level 30? I'm trying to not hit 30 so I can play in the 25-29 DZ bracket with friends, but I'm already level 28 and 2/3rd, so I'm worried that GA will push me past 29. If I didn't do GA, I could probably get all of the BoO to 100% (only have medical there now) without going over and get those perks. Just wondering if there is anything special or unlocked from GA before hitting level 30.

Yeah, I was about to post that as well. Just to let you guys know why you will be seeing guys with mostly/all gs 240 gear wiping you out in the dz now. Guys who don't glitch this only get one 240 piece per week (I think).

In case you don't read the link this involves no fighting at all, just glitching through to the apc and sticky bombing it to death. No combat. At least per the link, I haven't done it and can't play till saturday.

edit - Given how often mobile cover was used for previous exploits, how could they not catch this?

seems like all people do is find exploits and exploits them. hopefully they ban these people. not like they will be losing any monthly subscription money.

You can get at a minimum of 4 HEs per week with alts.

Right now it's giving the weekly bonus any time the leader hasn't cleared it for the week so you can keep partying and finding people who haven't cleared it and keep getting the bonus.

No. There's this thing called RNG and it sucks.

Unless there is a way to equip 5 Tactician back packs I don't know about? Or some of the gear doesn't have the right stats or rolls, etc.

Exploits to farm just show how broken the loot system really is, in that even if you could farm a top end piece of loot every 10 mins, you still would be unlikely to arrive at a complete working ideal full set of gear in a reasonable period due to there being too many variables. Unless you are the luckiest SOB in the universe.

Nobody running Firearms/Stamina is going to be excited to wear that GS240 gear that rolled electronics, has less armor than their GS182, and has exp gain, increased health, etc. instead of crit damage, mod slots, etc. Since you can only re-calibrate one and the others aren't livable, the drop is a complete waste.

Grats on waiting a week for 2 pieces of HE fabric the normal way. And then 3 months later you could have 24 pieces of HE fabric!

And this is exactly why people "exploit". Because the loot system blows.

It's more than that, already knew about that one. You don't need to switch alts, just glitch into the area, sticky the apc to death, and right around then have 3 guys disconnect. Last guy waits, the rest reconnect and have the challenge mode reward in inventory, along with the credits. Group cycles who the guy that stays is. So yes they are farming 240 gear (and whatever else you get, does 214 drop as well?), with no combat involved. If they were actually running the mission, essentially farming it, I doubt it would be a big deal, that's just grinding.

edit - Don't think I mentioned, the reason for the disconnect is that the guys that do so get the rewards no matter if they finished the challenge mode yet or not, so it's repeatable without alts. Just do it over and over, get as much gear as you want.

I'm well aware of RNG, and personally think the better players that grind this will end up with a mix of 240/214/some gold gear.

Given how often smart cover was used for glitching before this new mission, how did this make it through? Or at least design the mission so that there is no wall to glitch through in this manner.... would seem easy enough given the limited combat area.

I'll certainly agree that the loot system is bad, causing people to do something like this, which is actually pretty boring if you think about it.

Is the mission just too hard? I know at the end in hard mode, it seems like mobs keep spawning unless you wipe out the wave in a certain time limit. This makes it extremely difficult. My group got to the end, and couldn't clear out all the mobs. We kept dying and reviving and at the end just used survival link to get to the apc and plant the bomb. The last wave is insanity. I can't imagine completing it legit in challenge mode, lol

this is why I haven't played this game in like a month.

Bullet king killed any and all interest I had in it, that weekend no one wanted to do anything but farm that shit over and over and over, and because I had him up and not a lot of people I played with did I kept being abused for it

I finial just killed him so he wouldn't respawn anymore, which pissed people off but made me happy

Also, you can just bum rush the supply drops in the DZ with survival link on, and you don't have to extract stuff from the supply drop.. lol.

You're 28 and you're worried about people who were 30 the first 24 hours the game went live having better gear than you ONLY because of exploits? How are you even going to be able to tell the difference after you die instantly? Also DZ is bracketed by gear rank now, not level. You won't meet any of these people until you are GS 161 or higher.

Everyone is so quick to blame farm "exploits" for their troubles because it's the current bandwagon, but they ignore the following:

1) People with gear had a 6 week lead on you if you just hit 30. All they have been doing is farming gear all day every day since March 9th regardless of method.

2) People abusing exploits already had 90-95% "perfect" gear. They farm exploits because it's necessary to combat the terrible multi layer RNG. Rest assured 99% of the stuff they farm gets scrapped because it's no better than what they already had. If you're going to get 1 shot in DZ, it isn't going to matter if they had gear that was 95% perfect from a month of of simply playing the game daily vs 97% perfect brute forcing the RNG with exploit farming for incrementally better rolls or attributes every once in a lifetime when all the stars in the universe line up.

3) When you get raped 5 vs 1 it's not because of hacks, exploits, or gear advantages from "exploits", or "OP" gear. This one is my favorite, people moaning that they got ganked 5 v 1 and BECAUSE ALL FIVE OF THEM HAD VECTORS SO OP NERF NOW!!!!! Or "they have 4 survivor links and I only have 1, no fair! survivor link needs to be nerfed!". The audacity of thinking you should even have a chance 5 v 1 in the first place, let alone blaming it on farming exploits or a popular piece of gear or talent.

I'm GS207 with 200k non inflated dps with striker 4 pc bonus 80k HP and over 4500 armor. I'm not invincible. I just got gunned down by 5 people with weaker gear than me. I know because I was getting them to half health pretty quickly and I didn't die instantly, I was soaking up their hits quite well. But I simply couldn't keep up with 5 ultimates, 25 first aid kits, etc while being focus fired. Should I have expected something else?

Also don't confuse gear being a factor vs. people just blatantly hacking. I have experienced both and I will call out what I feel was probably a legit kill with better tactics or gear or sig skill timing vs. being 1 shot with a SMG with infinite ROF hacks by someone skating circles around me at mach 10 and clipping through stuff. (someone was doing this the other day and got stuck in the floor and we killed him and collected the lvl 5 manhunt, justice was served).

I pretty much agree with this, though I still think negative feelings about this current glitch are legitimate (though not to the degree I see on reddit - it's ridiculous there!). I'm more disappointed in the design of the incursion, and found it incredibly boring, enough so the next day I ended up not playing at all.

LOL people are already min/maxing to 160 with a 204 gun and using a level 1 pistol and secondary to tank their GS. Until massive makes a GS system that is harder to exploit the griefers will still grief.
