It basically says they can't stop further exploitation, so until next week when they can fix it the weekly rewards are disabled.

figures, i just spent a couple hours in dz working on this. meh.

I can still do the glitch after patch, AT is welcome to run with me. Trying to find out how to do the fast glitch. Had a guy run it for the team today, we used explosives, he picked off the very few enemies that spawned, I didn't get to kill one and neither did anyone else. Took 15 minutes per run.

From what I can tell people are still getting the weekly reward once, but further runs still get them the drop, and not the reward.

Don't know. Still n00b and confused about what's going on half the time. Game is definitely fun though playing as a group. Solo is meh.

3 days later and still a little irked they cycled out the aug and m1a patterns from the DZ vendor. How can a company make a game so enjoyable and addicting and yet at the same time screw 95% of things up so badly. They have Destiny to learn from. They have Diablo 3 to learn from. They have a myriad of MMO type games to learn from and yet they continue to make the same exact horrible mistakes those games made.

There will always be haves and have nots. I enjoy being a have so I dump time into a game I play but I won't be able to continue to play that game if the player base dries up. The goal must be at the very least make the have nots think they have a chance against the haves. To make them feel they have the ability to catch up. When a game's weapon system is so broken that there is basically 2-4 usable guns and only 1 of those is a marksman rifle and you only allow the have to get it without permitting time for the have nots to at the very least reach for it you have screwed up. I just do not understand. Having a massive array of gun patterns. Having a small number of usable guns. Having a week long restock timer. Having another gear reset in 1-1.5 months. It makes people not want to try until the next gear reset.

They should shorten the restock timer to 24 hours. That would keep people logging in and checking to see what patterns are up and keep them farming DZ funds to potentially buy what is available next. That would keep people farming crafting mats to try something else.

And damnit they really need to fix the hacking before they release anything else. That really needs to be the number 1 priority before new content.

In regards to the exploits. I do not see them banning anyone. They said they were going to ban anyone exploiting after the bullet king fix. Then hornet/police happened and no one got banned. They said said they were going to ban anyone exploiting after hornet. No bans when people did the new police exploit. They said they were going to ban after that and then we had people exploiting Falcons lost withing 4 hours of release. No bans. They patched it on Friday. Within 10 minutes of the servers being up people were back to exploiting. No bans I've seen so far.

What they need to do is the same thing Blizzard does, have a PTR server. Yes it would be a large project to set up but it's the best way to prevent exploits from going live. People will always find any exploit they can find. Many people simply enjoy the act of trying to find exploits and many more enjoy finding the quickest way to the top of an imaginary ladder/gear score climb.

I suppose that's the end of my rant. Time to go grind to 90 in the DZ....

Guess I'm not done. In regards to the DZ gun patterns if they really want to cycle them they should at least put up a pattern for each weapon type each week. One AR, one SMG, one marksman, one pistol, and one shotgun. That way at least people would have the ability to buy the weapon type they prefer.

No idea if they actually will or won't, but some articles that said action would be taken were a bit misleading. They are looking into what can be done.

The sad thing is it still sold a metric ton. What I would be more interested in seeing the attach rate for the seasons pass compared to other games.

Overall though the game is somehow a complete blast to play; bugs, hacks, and glitches all.

Fuck me, this game is broke ass. Really great game, but it's so bugged, glitched and broken in its current state.

Cheaters teleporting around the DZ, speedhacking and one shotting people. Incursion is exploited to death. Tons of glitches in this game. I think the team responsible for the PC port must be completely incompetent. The client/server code is so easily exploited that cheaters can teleport and control their fire rate with client commands issued to the server that the server accepts with no sanity checks.

Then the QA department is clearly useless with how many glitches are in the game and they can't even fix them. Their attempts fail every time. It's a disaster.

i dont think its 75%. maybe 75% of the hardcore player base. ive played a fair bit and i have yet to run into a pub group thats exploiting anything.

It's amusing how the amount of people going rogue lately has skyrocketed. One can only imagine if they're trying to get their game time in before their accounts get banned. Of course, that's me being hopeful.

back when the exploits for the Hornet, Police Academy & the 1 room glitch at Lex Event Center were still live, I joined a ton of pub groups that were exploiting a glitch.

I doubt they'll actually ban anyone but I don't really care, I'll keep playing if they don't but in current state of the game, I can't say I care much. I'm likely to use PVE exploits in the future too, even at risk of losing my account. A ban would force me to leave and I'm dissatisfied with the game already.

Unfortunately, I haven't had many games with AT'ers, mostly playing with randoms. Over the weekend a group of people formed that I'm likely to play with so things should be less frustrating now on.

1 out of 5 games I join will fail. Members leaving, members unable to take part in mission due to "group not in a respawn area" bug, the failed mission trigger bugs. most notably the missing NPC's on Lexington entrance and the locked first door on incursion.

Exploiting in this game has first driven me to stay out of DZ, then the coop issues have driven me to use exploits myself. Now I feel it's just a matter of time of me setting a goal, a gear set to acquire and once I have I think I'll quit the game. Might even happen with the next incursion, the SA missile site.

Must suck for people who preordered. Should have just used the mobile cover to get into the DLC

Been playing less myself too. Kind of wishing i hadnt bought the season pass now. Theres nothing to do if you can only play solo except gather materials and do the hard daily missions. I cant even go into the dz alone to try to gain dz ranks because of the rogue guys.
Pub groups have been pretty bad in my experience so its even fun to do that.

Pretty much this. Exploit to get loot that they refuse to drop. If they don't ban, I get loot, if they do ban and refuse to lift lockouts, then it's not something that's going to hold my interest anyway farming once a week for something with 1 in 100,000 odds.

No ban? I got the loot I wanted.
Ban? I was going to uninstall anyway since they won't give loot.

In the mean time I've already got my $100 worth. Cant go wrong with 25 cents an hour entertainment.

I love the concept and style of the game, but they need to seriously get off their high horse thinking they can tell people how fast and how often they can get loot.
