Played the "underground" yesterday and drops are pretty nice on hard mode. Drops are usually in caches not item drops. Got a PP-19 at 229 and a green vest at 268 I think. Bumped me up to 231 now. Have yet to try the new incursion though...maybe later today.

I dunno, I'm actually really happy with the changes for this update. It's far from perfect, but I think they're actually doing some things right.

The rage about the G36 "nerf" has continued to entertain me...

We tried challenging several times, and it seems freaking too hard. Hard mode though seems freaking too easy though.....maybe when I hit 240s...

Supply station w/ ammo, full pulse, smart cover, flash bang. These need to be used. I was pugging challenging pretty successfully. Pugged heroic as well.

i have new games from the steam summer sale to handle..

i honestly think i am done with the division.

It's also the last tom clancy series i will ever buy again from ubisoft that has a multiplayer aspect outside coop.

because i have firmly understood now that ubisoft has no clue on how to do something called fair multiplayer, or even proper launchs, which gear boosts all the hackers to a point where u can never catch up, even when they turn off hacks.

I am enjoying the current update but I agree with your Ubisoft statement. This is the last Ubisoft game I but that isn't $5 on a steam sale. Their idea of QA is worse than non existent. At this point I have already paid for the division and feel I might as well give it a go.

That's likely true, given what I've been reading of the reclaimer set bug. Though I haven't been playing for awhile now, so I can't vouch for that particular one myself.

I played earlier this week but I thought I'd play a little last night before bed, nope. There should be an offline mode for single player Open World but I guess it requires Uplay services for Safe Houses and the DZ.

So, this game has really revived so far. The patch 1.4 did fix a lot of issues and 1.5 really upped the ante with the expansion. I'm enjoying it.

Agreed. It is much better now and I've been looking forward to the survival mode. I'm hoping to actually get into it soon now that it's out. Time to farm for 229+ GS.

I haven't tried DZ again since I really hadn't heard if it's been made any better or still ruled by rogues. Anyone have recent experience with it?

DZ is still a crap shoot solo. I haven't tried it in 1.5, but in 1.4 it was still groups with shotguns or you get lucky and nobody is around.

I never really enjoyed the DZ after the alpha or beta. I still haven't finished the story mode missions. You really have to have a decent group that sticks together. Was wondering if they updated the game resolution or performance for the ps4 pro.

They said they will be doing a complete PvP balancing pass in a later patch. That could be 1.6, 2.0, or never.

exdeath and I have both started playing again. I'm mostly enjoying the changes. Haven't done survival yet, sat in the queue twice for 20 minutes, then gave up.

For what it's worth, the large update in patch 1.4 wasn't meant to address the PVP as much as it was to make PVE doable for 90% of players that hadn't already and make gear available for everyone. 1.5 attempted to do some PVP changes (enemy armor damage now counts 33% towards players), but they are focusing on it in the future.

Sadly, they don't understand the easiest way to make PVP fun is to simply normalize all gear and damage for players in the DZ against other players. There is no reason it should be completely gear based, because that really sucks and limits things they can do with gear.

^^ This. The PVP system is fundamentally broke. You can run into guys with much higher gear and have no chance. They need to equalize the playing field, IMO.

This game got so frustrating I haven't played in probably 8 months. I figured I see if anything was fixed and at 4am local time on a Tuesday the servers are down. No scheduled maintenance, just down with no twitter or forums mention of why.

Ha, I just ranted in a thread about the same thing.

I would still stay away from the DZ. I had all 204 gear when I got back in. I was messing around in the DZ with a few friends, they still have very low TTK to zero me out. I need few more pieces to have all choices from 3 two sets to 1 full gear set and half another but this build already has decent perks yet it's a joke in pvp:

I don't know why they simply don't standardize gear and weapons in PVP. You can run into people with much higher gear and you have absolutely zero chance. Fair fights are very rare.

You would still have plenty of choices in weapons and gear and perks so could still play to your style.

Thankfully I really enjoyed the single player in this game.
