found this:

Inside Scientology there are a number of broadly known and often quoted Policy Letters. The most important is "Keeping Scientology Working," where the Scientologist is sternly admonished to police the use of Scientology and ensure that there are no departures from Hubbard's teachings. A list of ten points is given for the protection of "Standard Tech," among them "hammering out of existence incorrect technology." This Policy Letter exists in all but introductory Scientology courses. It is there to inculcate reverence to Hubbard as the "Source" of Scientology , and to show the crucial role of the Scientologist's mission on Earth.

I really feel sorry for the guy who's job it was to splice together that video. I'm sure that sudo-interview lasted for hours, so imagine having to watch all the footage countless times and try to pick out nine minutes of something.

ok, so we all think he's crazy. however, consider if he was saying the same things, but as a christian, jew, muslim, hindu, or buddhist. now he seems slightly less crazy and about on par with any other vocal religious person.

hardly. He doesn't have a single coherent thought in that 9 mins. I don't care what he was/is talking about (or trying to talk about as it stands) he made no sense on any level.

Hahah. What's the difference between him and religious zealot from other religions?

People who killed in the name of God: many
People who killed in the name of Scientology: ???

Personally I believe Scientology is a scam.

I agree with Scientology being a fake, but I have no idea WTF you just wrote above.

I believe he was just saying it is harmless... a scam... but harmless.

I think most religious people sound pretty nutty when they start quoting bible passages actually. I used to get a group of religious freaks coming to my door asking me about the future every once in a while. I just let my dog bark at them now until they go away.

I don't think that much of it is "harmless" at all.

Here's a list of a select few quotes and paraphrases I made as I listened the second time through:

Priviledge

Create better realities

"When I read it....pfff...this is it, this is exactly it..."

Effectively change peoples lives "help"

Uncompromisingly dedicated to help

Ethics onto someone else "won't hesitate" --this is something he respects in others because he's there to help

"Either you're on board, or you're not on board"

Authorities on the mind, rhabilitate criminals, bring peace, unite cultures

Tools that work

Leaders are depending on people who know, can be effective, and do it. That's "our responsibility"

You see things the way they are in all it's glory, all its complexity.

"Have you met an SP? Maybe one day it will be like that" We'll just read about them in the history books, confront shatter suppression

People won't confront him, they just won't do it

I want to be on vacation, to be able to just romp and play. But I can't, because...I know...I know...and once you know I have to do something about it.

Helping, and contributing everything you can...or you're not.

You're either in or you're out. That's spectatorism and we have no time for that now.

We have the responsibility to create that new reality.

Have enough love, compassion and toughness, that you are going to do it

It's fun!

Think about those people who are depending on us...

Get those specatators either in the playing field or out of the arena

Some of that sounds nice enough, like love, compassion, etc...but in the end it comes down to this: force your ethics onto those who don't have them. They are either in or out, but in the end, one day he hopes to belong to a group that is comprised fully of believers, with "SP's" only being something he can read about in the history books....sure, that sounds harmless to me.

Are you ready to convert?

I don't care what he preaches or believes (though Scientology is pretty out there if you ask me...yes even compared to other religions). The point of the video is there is NO POINT. He rambles and makes little to no sense.
As previous posters have pointed out, if this is the BEST the editor could come up with, imagine the junk that was left on the cutting room floor.

He's coo-coo-ka-choo CRAZY.

That video explained nothing. The producer needs to be fired. Ten minute video backed the entire time by a loop of the redone MI theme?

Really making the news now about this video . . . he's just crazy, but guess all of us are to a degree.

I almost (almost mind you) want to join up with Scientology just to see the whacked out weirdness up close and personal.
