tomorrow's (fri) Fry's AMD CPU combos

atleast for LA. Some 2000 combo for 65 bucks and 2500 barton combo for 140.

I think that's what the 2000 combo is, I don't know about the barton one though.

Also, their 2200 combo for city of industry was week 45, I think pretty much all the cpus now are locked.

last time i got their 2600+ , came with shuttle an35n400 (non ultra). i guess pretty good for a nforce2 400 buz board

the 2400/shuttle mobo a few weeks ago was $120 retail box


i think ill be getting the 2600 barton/mobo tomorrow for GFs system

I bought it in Austin this past weekend, and it was bare. 13 bucks for a fan = 88 bucks total. The KT whatever only has DDR Ram slot though, so be prepared - I had to shift around 3 motherboards to get them all in the right case .

i picked up a combo today at the fountain valley, CA location:

retail 2200+ and shuttle an35n ultra (dual channel) for 129. Linkage not a super hot deal, but i was looking to buy this board anyway and also needed a cpu for a second rig. saved a few bucks from newegg's prices. although i'd rather have a 333fsb barton but what the hell.

Yo MM1, checked newspapers online, seems they are packaging a retail cpu with the combo but for $10 more. Just an update and seems a better dealio.
