Toms hardware Interactive CPU Charts...

Hello

When checking the interactive cpu charts at tomshardware i see alot of synthetic benchmarks. Cant really test the cpu's on real life software.
Even Doom III is tested while the GPU is the bottleneck so how can u possibly test different cpu's!

Seems like they want to show Intel performance to be higher then it actually is...

It would be great if Anand could make some interactive cpu charts...!

A benchmark is just a task to perform to the cpu..... it doesn't know it's "synthetic":roll: It will either do the task faster than another cpu or it won't. All the crying about "synthetic" benchmarks are from people with hardware that falls short on those benches. You can go the route some of the people on AT choose and make up your own benchmarks that showcase the particular strenths of your hardware and proclaim it to be the best, or you can run the same benches used on most overclocking sites and take the results without crying "bias".

I think all review sites have certain bias, including At. Just take the numbers with a grain of salt.

Yea, but the difference is in the fact that AT benches hardware in things people actually do, as opposed to.... synthetic benchmarks, which no one uses...other than to benchmark.
