I post a decent amount in the forums there (which are full of really messed up people by the way), but the reviews aren't as good as Anand's I find. Still decent, but I like anand's stuff better. Most of the time they have reviews on things I don't care about too.

When it comes to processors and other hardware, I am biased towards the facts. Facts are something that Tom's doesn't always have a firm grip on, particularly when they are taking advertising money from the producer of the hardware they are reviewing.

I stopped trusting any of the TomsH articles when:

One week they revealed how MSI placed an undocumented "dynamic overclock" into their i865 P4 motherboard to fraudulently increase their benchmark scores. There was no way to disable this hidden overclocking, and it would run a CPU out of spec giving the user no warning or control.

A few weeks later, the TomsH site was full of MSI advertising and they were giving the same motherboard their "Editor's Choice" award, over motherboards from Abit, Asus, etc. [ including the Abit IS-7 recommended by AnandTech and most other sites ]

Hardly. I don't even read hardware reviews, but, from reading all your posts in this thread it just seems like you KEEP giving Tom the "benefit of the doubt". There comes a certain point where you must realize that Tom is the owner of the site and ultimately if he is a good manager he would have realized the mistakes his editors (and possibly himself) were making by giving bias towards their advertisers. Any good manager/owner/editor wouldn't overlook something that is giving their product/site a bad name or reputation.
