Why can't the producers do something we HATE. Have Jack just shoot her in the head and empty a whole clip? Come on? It's the unpredictability that got Season 1 and 2 going. It's just like Season 6 Ep 17 when Jack went on a killing spree. I don't want to see her die too, but instead of doing the same predictable crap let's do something new.
Jack's been made to kill someone many times already, and EACH TIME he pulls the same excuse. Shouldnt' we keep them alive until blah blah blah? He does this again and again and if anything it shows how WEAK he is. Is Jack really this weak? I think any of us in that situation would pull the same crap too, but we all know Jack is way beyond us. Can't they make him act a little stronger at least? Excuse or no excuse he'll have his plan, and I'd rather see his plan unfold as it goes not have it hinted along. Just like we didn't see Nina with a bullet proof vest until AFTER she woke up on the ground. Season 1 had that "holy sh!t" factor, but now it's just "Oh, I predict.... this will happen."
