I think they will kill of Palmer next time. Here's why. There is NO WAY they would pick up right where it left off. Bauer is HALF dead, and they need him running around. I think maybe Palmer is dead, and it's some time after, and it has to do with who/why they killed him.

Anyways.......nice, something to look forward to. I love the mystique surrounding those people on the phone that were un-named.

That chick was the same one from season 1, guess this poison thing was plan B.

Overall a nice ending to a season, tony's comment ruled "Either fire me or get off my chair", but the cliffhanger sucks because no average 24 fan can wait 4-5 months for another episode.

oh and that chick was from the first few episodes of season 1, she's the one that blew up the airliner and stole a photographer's id so they could sneak in and kill the president at a press conference.

I only watch these 2 shows.. 24 and Alias. I must say Alias' plot lines/twists kick the @$$ out of 24's. There is no favoritism here. What would be the purpose of me saying it if it weren't true IMO ?

These 24 episode ideas and plot twists could've been done by JJ Abrams in his sleep. He is THAT good. Who here has given it a chance ?

That was beyond awful. Who were those two guys at the end? Why, after their initial plan was a nuke, did they resort to such a low tech and low death toll act as a simple prez assasination? And dammit, why didn't Kim or Sherry die? Simply an awful, awful final episode. It went like something I might turn out at 12:30 at night the day before a deadline for an English paper. No semblance of a cohesive plot, just BS designed to fill up time.

Yeah, if Palmer dies from a simple thing as a handshake poison when season one was all about killing Palmer and ultimately failing, then it's just kinda silly IMO.

I wonder if they'll do something semi-hokey like had the bad guys tell Palmer that they have the antidote, and if he doesn't start a war, he won't get it, and he'll die. I can't see them killing off Palmer tho'. He's the strongest character besides Jack on that show.

i've watched it a few times, but with 24 i make it a point to watch it so i don't miss antyhing. it doesn't matter with episodic shows cause you can just watch them whenever.

it's called wrapping up the plot. it was not meant to be a cohesive, self-contained story in that one episode.
