According to the Infocus data sheet, there's a two-year warranty and 90-day bulb warranty. No idea on service.

There have been some reports of issues. Again though, you have to consider what's important to you. I haven't had a chance to see this particular set yet, so take everything I say with a grain of salt.

If you want to look up reviews, you can also look up its sister set, the RCA HD61THW263.

I think the biggest problem I've read about is the default picture settings, and the contrast. After adjustment, the picture is supposed to be quite good, especially with lower quality feeds (ie. SD). Spend some time with DVE or AVIA, or hire a good calibrator.

The built in tuners are pretty nice.

It can take native rate over the HDMI and component inputs.

The $390+ ship lamp module (part# SP-LAMP-022) is a bit on the expensive side, but I'm sure prices will drop over time.

No, even better, it uses the HD2+ chip. I don't believe any HD3 chips are rated at 3500:1 on/off contrast.

Whew! I went to BB and they had a beat-up floor model HD61THW263. It looked like crap. I don't think that has ANY meaningful relationship to what you'd get by buying one of the InFocus sets from Woot, but it makes me feel better about not buying one.
