Hi all:
I am planning a major system upgrade within a year or so (probably during next summer). I would like to upgrade my video card now, from a radeon 9100, to something in the range of a 9600XT ($150 or less), so that I can play HL2, and maybe World of Warcraft, and actually have them look nice.
My question is, would it be a mistake to buy an AGP card now, or will I be able to find a full-featured mobo next summer that will support an AGP card? I really don't have money to burn on a video card that will only be useful for 8 months, so your advice is appreciated!
