Taking between 200mg-600mg before bed will cause lucid dreams that are very very colorful and realistic. Taking more will make these dreams mellow. Just keep your intake below 1,000mg day. There is a story about a woman who took 3,000mg and ended up with serious nerve damage, she lost use of her arms. You can train yourself to have lucid dreams. There is a device you put over your eyes when you go to sleep that will detect rapid eye movements and begin flashing light. This will make you aware that you are dreaming.

I had some of the most insane dreams on vitamin B6. When I know that I'm dreaming I usually do one of two things: I either have sex with the first female I see (sometimes forcibly, which is weird since it is MY dream and she should put out, lol) or I fly.

Really? Why am I just learning about this now?! Looks like I'm doing some experimenting tonight  ...just a quick question tho, when is the best time to take your "B-shot", just before going to bed or...?

Don't go overboard with it.

Too much can hurt you.

I know, the first thing I did after learning this was finding out where the safety limits are and there's no way I'm taking the "recommended" 200-600mg's. I'm just taking couple of these supplement pills, it's only 40mg's of B6 and let's see if it does anything

Yeah, take it before bed. Better yet crush the pills into a powder so they absorb faster. Remember it is not a "b-shot" it is a B6-shot. Other b vitamins will not do this. I doubt 40mg will do the trick take at least 200mg. 200mg-600mg doses are safe, you only have to worry once you start taking over 1,000mg.

I had an odd dream a few nights ago, where I was having a nightmare, than woke up, startled, into a lucid dream where the nightmare was behind me, but I could control it and direct it( it was like a big ball of nightmare) at first. Eventually I started flying and throwing people into it, I only chose old people. Finally I flew away, and just before it grabbed me I woke up again into reality.

Was fun, but an odd morning as I wanted to make sure it just wasn't another dream.

I'll do the crushing, but it'll be a B-shot, only supplements I could find had all the B-vitamin varieties in 'em.

I know it's the same government saying me cannabis is equal to heroin who's giving me these safety limits on vitamins so I'm taking them with a grain of salt (mildly put)... but, absolutely no offense, I'm not trusting some random internet poster either

I probably should be taking these supplements anyways, but I'm not going to be the first moron to overdose on f**king vitamins  I've had my fair share of mind altering substances, I'd just die if B6 vitamin was what finally killed me

Unlike drugs, there is no agenda behind vitamins. You can take this advice more seriously. Too much of anything is bad for you, FYI you can actually overdose and die from drinking too much water (more people have actually died from overdosing on water than smoking pot)!

I don't know what b-shot is or what is in it, but I doubt it will have the same affect as an expensive B6 vitamin (cheap vitamins suck). Anyway, let me know how it goes. I had some of the most vivid dreams with B6 that were just amazing. My friends had good experiences too when I told them to try it. Just keep in mind that you build tolerance quick. I weight 155 LBS and I find that 300mg-400mg does the trick for me.

Are there any more studies about the safe levels of b6? The ones posted above have people talking about less than 100mg being safe, and everyone here is talking about 10 times that much.

Id like to see some more studies before I go loading myself with 2-300mg of b6

But ive never had a lucid dream, so maybe i'll try it once just to see what its all about.

The US government always has an agenda. Always

I know that too much of anything is bad for you and that you can actually die by drinking too much water. Back in the day, when I still had the energy (...oh, the irony!) to debate the cannabis opposing morons, that was one of my main arguments! You have your users and then you have your abusers, they have little in common.

I put the "B-shot" in quotes for a reason, I didn't know if it meant anything either I just meant a... err, a shot of B-vitamins, in that, the supplements don't just have B6 but all of the B vitamins together.

...and unfortunately I know all about building tolerance. But I'm still not going to OD on f**king vitamins

If you've ever had a very realistic dream you can remember every detail about, it's not hard to imagine, in lucid dream you're in control. It's an interactive movie you write as you go... and nothing is impossible. The hardest part for me is to not wake up myself up, which I usually do

Come to think of it, there have been a few occasions where I realize that im dreaming, but I usually wake up immediatly afterward, so maybe I just get too excited when im about to start lucid dreaming.

To the OP:

Do you use drugs? I've seriously felt like I was losing my mind on some substances, and subsequently gave them up.

If you are genuinely worried, start out by just seeing your doctor. It can do no harm but could potentially do an incredible amount of good.

Sounds a lot like what I experience when I go into lucid, my brain just starts to scream "Oh Oh! Now you can do whatever you wa..." *bof* ...and I wake up... and then I punch my brain.

I've had a few really good lucid dreams but most of the time I end up waking myself up, hopefully this B6 stuff will help with that

Sensory neuropathy typically develops at doses of pyridoxine in excess of 1,000 mg per day

400mg one time won't do you any bad even though it is 40,000x's your recommended daily intake

Carl Jung to the rescue!

the "something" is your inner self. or, if you're afraid of it, it might be your shadow, which is just the aspects of your inner self that you deny or repress.

but if you're getting the feeling that it's with you even when you're awake, and you are in distress because of of this, i urge you to see a psychologist immediately. judging by your incoherant post and your description of what is happening, there is a possibility of schizophrenia. your psychologist can determine if that's what's really going on or not, help you, and can also refer you to get any necessary anti-psychotic meds. don't be embarassed about it. if anything, your psychologist will be fascinated to hear your story.

and if you're pulling our legs, get stuffed.

These "tubes" sound very familiar, may be related to the common "vortex" dreams that some of us have when we're under stress. I myself get very surreal dreams about tornadoes when something is really bugging me.

Maybe I can psychoanalyze your dream for you... can you give any more details? What time do you normally get to bed, and when do you wake up? Are you regularly active (exercise, sports, hard labor), or are you lethargic? Drink, smoke, favorite foods?

In fact I do, these tubes spawned people and airship-like vechiles in the sky. The dream has no reason or purpose but shows everything that I care about. I suppose breaking it down would make the main messages of it: -I fear the future -I fear global warming (if it exists) -This "Something" I care for -The acknowledgment that the world will die soon and we need to get into space ASAP -The future is dirty.
