Too much Spam in Outlook

I am running Windows 7 and Office 2013. My son used my computer all evening to enter contests and now I’m getting spammed to death. I have the Junk e-mail options set to high, but there are still quite a lot of emails getting through. I’m looking for a good (preferably) free spam filter. Any thoughts?

Many should have an unsubscribe option.

But if you can't control your son entering these contest, create another email account for him to use.

Most internet security software have spam filters that integrate into Outlook. You might also check with your email provider and see if they allow you to create mail filters. Gmail does this and I've got a ton of them active on my account to prevent chronic spammers from reaching my in box.

All of my email comes thru Mailwasher Pro by Firetrust. That lets me look at it before downloading. It lets me delete all spam and unwanted garbage so it never enters my home. It lets me create blacklists and whitelists. It handles multiple email accounts and lets me see them all at once. I get zero email spam.

I get zero email spam.

I use the same Tool (MailWasher Pro). I find it much more superior to the Method of Cleaning spam after it is already got in.

I get a lot of Spam but with MailWasher it is eliminate at the server before it is downloading to my Computers

dont use unsubscribe that tells the spammers that they have valid email address and will most likely the spammer will share that address to other spammers.
I used for years a program called Pop Peeper and for me I got the pro version for added spam tools it works with all email providers and give one place to check your email.
I keep mine always running and have it set to check my 1 verizon 1 hotmail and 3 gmail accts I have every 10 mins and that for me is why I still use since my early Windows days.

Also OP helps to know who is the email provider(s) as they will have there own website to deal with spam!

If a person is using gmail they can already do this without the need for any additional software. I'm a cheapskate so I use it.

I pay a third party for spam protection. Works like a charm, and $0.25/mo per e-mail account.

i agree that outlook is just big junk and the spam got worse with windows 10 so thats big junk too lol

Email filters work if you'll create and use them. The stock outlook filter works great for me.
