TOOL RECORD MASTERED

Salma stopped dancing on January 29th. The next morning the members of the band flew to Portland, Maine to have the record mastered by Bob Ludwig. This was done on January 31, no doubt followed by a lobster dinner.

Edit: I was listening to Sirius Octane on the way home from work and the DJ on there said that the official release date for Tool's new CD was May 2nd.

I just want to know when, this doesn't really give me any more info then I already knew. And just because its mastered doesn't mean they won't wait another 6months to a year to release it.

OSI's new cd comes out March 31... if you like tool, you will love love love OSI... the singer sounds alot like maynard, in a way, but is also a piano virtuoso so he never ever fvcks up and his notes are always very nnniiiicccceee...

Yeah and they were suppose to be making a live DVD as well, 2 years ago, that never happened. I just dont know what they do with all their time...

Ever heard of Evans Blue? New band... sounds pretty decent and like Tool... I thought Maynard had a new side project for a second, then realized it wasnt him

They released 2 DVD's recently. On the front of both DVD covers, it says something like "new studio release - Spring 2006" so I think this is true.

Can't freaking wait!

Lateralus was GREAT too

In fact, I'd say it is probably their best album IMO. It took a few listens before it became like that though. At first I was like, hmmmmmmmm well this is ok. After 3 or so listens I was like, this is bad a$$. Then after my 5th or so time of listening through the whole thing - I decided it was their best work so far.
