If you're in the Denver area, The Cherry Cricket is a place to get one of the best burgers in the country. It's shame it wasn't on that list...

Because it'd actually be relevant to a significant portion of the country?

No, it wouldn't be relevant to anyone. Since the vast majority of the population has sampled every national chain in their area WTF good does a list do? The reader has already formed their own opinions. Lists like this are only relevant if they include places that surpass the chains and might be missed by somebody who doesn't venture outside mall parking lots.

I've been to flip twice. I get the raw burger. Pretty good place. It's really only known because the owner was on Top Chef.

Instead of a conventional "no" I think this deserves a "FUCK NO". The only reason this place makes lists is because of it's association with the actors that were at Second City who made it onto SNL back in the golden years of that program. There are literally dozens of better burgers in the city, even some mere feet from the Billy Goat.

I was just going to post the same thing. The place is a disgusting dump. The food was very unimpressive. Only reason I ever even heard of it was SNL.

lol. You may as well go to Denny's.

They vary from location to location, but one of my favorite burger places is a Fuddruckers in Buena Park CA. Outstanding burgers, well at least the last time I went which was years ago. Definitely the best big chain by a long shot. Denny's new burgers are that bad actually, I mean for a chain you can find in any city. The list should have had chains IMHO because when I travel a place I've never been I want something different than BK or JITB but I never like risking it at places I haven't been.

There's only so much you can do with a burger. For Seattle, I'd say Dick's for your basic cheeseburger craving and Red Mill for the all around burger joint. I could just as easily recommend Kid Valley and Burgermaster. Really its just fat and cheese, they are all good.

No Father's Office? You gotta be kidding.

That place isn't even top 10 in LA alone, and no I'm not just saying that. The only top 10 list it belongs on is "most overrated burger in America" So wait, you're telling me I have to wait a retardly long time to order and I can't get it any other way than the chef makes it? The burger's good but other places have better burgers, and I can order them to my liking. FO is the trendy place that's cool to talk about. It'll hopefully fade soon.

Oh, THE HEART ATTACK GRILL!
http://www.heartattackgrill.com/

Their business model is simple. They are sick of all the vegetarian, helthy eating a-holes and state openly that their goal is to give you a heart attack. They are proud of hte calorie counts. And the best thing ... it's a cross between Hooters and Burger King.

Never been there but want to go one day.

I've been there, the burgers are ok but the service is great

There's Feltner's Whattaburger (not part of the national chain) here in Russellville. The burgers aren't bad, and I would eat there more often but the wait is way too long (20-30minutes for a fast food burger? Wtf.)

It's like a freaking tourist attraction here. Asking where Whattaburger is and where Arkansas Tech University is (both happen to be right across the street from each other) are the two most commonly asked questions from out of town people I hear in this town.

LOL i live like 5 minutes from hollywood and never head of that place. I dont go to such places ever though, especially cause I keep Kosher

I'd think Hollywood would be one of the more likely places to find a kosher burger joint, no..?

Although not in the US, the best burger I have ever had is Fergburger. Hands down. I'm a big In-N-Out fan, I prefer them over Five Guys, but Fergburger beats them all. If you are ever in Queenstown, New Zealand, get yourself a Fergburger. Southern Swine is my favorite, for what it's worth.

25 degrees? No way. Go to the Apple Pan in West LA:

I was really underwhelmed by Apple Pan. Don't know if I went in with too high of an expectation because of all the hype, but it didn't taste like anything special to me. For the price I'd honestly rather go grab some in-n-out.

Hole in the Wall should get some consideration. It's more of a gourmet burger at $9+ but it's huge and so damn juicy. Skip the sweet potato fries and just get the regular though, unless you like fries soggy and limp.

Yeah I like 10-15 mins away and I've never heard of it, might have to try it out, though. Been meaning to hit up the Hollywood beach anyway.

I've been to Chip's in Dallas. Good, but don't remember thinking it was anything special.

For you ATL people, is Flip better than Vortex? Or is vortex just hype and atmosphere?
