I thought the Javelins, and the sportier AMX's were decent looking cars in their day, back in the sixties. I just don't think they held up that well over the years.
When I start seeing cars with rust problems in Arizona, I have to wonder about the quality of materials, and designs that they're using for these vehicles.
Also many of the components used by AMC were borrowed from other manufacturers. The engines and the bodies were about the only thing they could call their own. Unfortunately the engines kept them on the road too long in my opinion.
As far as that mention of the Citation, I believe they covered that with the inclusion of the Cadillac Cimaron. It was nothing more than a over optioned Citation. :Q
