Can't believe the Aztek isn't up there

Anyone seen the proposed changes they are going to make to it? UGLY!

woah, my parents had a light blue Plymouth Volare wagon.
the rear left door wouldn't open and leaked when it rained and the tailgate couldn't remain open on it's own (we used a wooden stick) but other than that it was pretty good

I'm surprised that the Plymouth Horizon/Dodge Omni or the Reliant/Aries didn't make their way to this prestigious list.

Also the entire AMC line deserves to be there with their Gremlin. I don't think they had any vehicle on the road, with a hint of redeeming qualities, with the possible exception of the Jeep(Even that would be open for debate).:Q

Aztek is just an ugly vehicle, i think otherwise its a standard SUV. (which are neither used for sport or utility.)

TonyH-

How about the Javelins, early models. Liked the looks of mine. Had a 68 with the 343 that surprised a lot of Chevies. No mechanical problems except one water pump and new mufflers about every 10,000 miles. AMX was OK also.

Now ugly, there was the Pacer and Gremlin.

I cant belive the Chevy Citation isnt there and the Chevette is. Chevettes were what they were, but they ran forever. Citations were pure junk from the word go.

Also don't think the Pinto shoul dbe ranked so hig, they were ok for what they were.

And why isn't the Cavalier there, that is another POS.

LOL GrInNer!

My dad used to have a VW Bus too and I since it was so long ago I totally forgot about the sliding door. I remember we'd be driving down the highway and all of a sudden the thing would just open up! We'd slam that door so hard but the thing never locked and would just bounce off.

What about the new Monte Carlo? Looks like they started with an Aztek and proceeded to beat it with the ugly stick!

I thought the Javelins, and the sportier AMX's were decent looking cars in their day, back in the sixties. I just don't think they held up that well over the years.
When I start seeing cars with rust problems in Arizona, I have to wonder about the quality of materials, and designs that they're using for these vehicles.
Also many of the components used by AMC were borrowed from other manufacturers. The engines and the bodies were about the only thing they could call their own. Unfortunately the engines kept them on the road too long in my opinion.

As far as that mention of the Citation, I believe they covered that with the inclusion of the Cadillac Cimaron. It was nothing more than a over optioned Citation. :Q

The Cavalier used the Citation powerplant and drive train. When I worked on these cars, the mechanical parts were the same. They all had the same pathetic engines, and the slightly better than junk THM125 transmissions.
The difference was a sleeker package to sell the same crap.

I must disagree with the Dodge/Plymouth Omni/Horizon ( )

They were pretty damn reliable for what they were. My dad had one that WOULD NOT DIEuntil my older sister ran it into a curb. Actually it didn't even die, just cracked the back axel. We sold it to some mexicans for 300 bucks

They also had the GHX model (I think that was it). Turbo 4cyl that was pretty quick. They also had great handling for their time
