Ep 3 was pretty good. Chris Harris' segment was awesome. I skipped the start in the rally cross car segment. It's just not enjoyable for me. The Ken Block segment was pretty awesome too.
"Top Gear was still the most watched programme in the 8pm time slot, beating Antiques Roadshow on BBC1 and the British Soap awards on ITV."
Wow, it beat antiques road show...
The new cast sucks, with the rather prodigious budget how could they not afford some decent people?
The presenter has allegedly grown increasingly frustrated with his co-stars attitude towards the team on the BBC show.
And insiders said the former Friends star delivered an ultimatum to corporation bosses by telling them he will have no part in any future series featuring Evans.
The alleged demand is said to have left BBC chiefs with no choice but to sack one of the hosts because they have already agreed to pay Le Blanc for two series.
A show source said: The big question now is who goes and who stays. The team does not gel at all, and the atmosphere between the presenters is decidedly frosty.
Its very much a picture of him Chris and them.
I still have not watched this version of the show, but might this one just to check Ken Block driving to try it out.
I find Evans really remarkably annoying. He has a face for radio and a voice for silent film. I find it just mystifying that he is so successful in the UK. Maybe that fact and the Brexit are not coincidental . . .
Chris Harris for main host, make it so BBC.
TG USA got pretty good after the 2nd season.
The main reason that TG can't work to it's full potential in the US is TV is advertiser driven. If they say or do any of the controversial things that shows a car brand in a bad light, the sponsors will get pissed and pull out. That's why there's so many "We bought these 30 year old cars for today's challenge..." episodes.
Great news.
It was a horrid show.
I refuse to watch the new show. No Clarkson, no May, No Hammond, No Me.
They've had Chris Evans talk a whole lot less since ep2. I didn't have a huge issue with him but I can see why many would and I don't miss it either.
I never liked the British accent to begin with so Chris Harris better be the last guy they introduce.
