I always enjoy Top Gear, but for some reason I didn't love this particular episode as much as most others. Oh well, we have more coming soon, so hopefully it will jump back up to the usual golden standard.

The Lancia bit was interesting, but it seemed to drag on at times. They DEFINITELY needed to get that nutty Lambo on the track, I think we were all dying to know how a RWD stripped down model compared to the AWD heavier model. Instead we were treated to a P.O.S. kit car horribly fumbling around the track.

"hey, we're making a big deal over what you think is the greatest car company ever. now here's an entire episode (1/6 of the series) about a car company nobody picked!"

the scripted blimp-violating-an-airport bullshit has got to go, too. i'm surprised they had 2 guests (bana and evans, series 13 had leno) that are at all enthusiastic about cars. the "news" is an unfunny joke, as is the "i'm an expert / i'm an imbecile" routine. if they're just going to keep producing this tired rubbish, they should just shut down the show.

"Top Gear: Ambitious but Rubbish" should be replaced with
"Top Gear: Failed humor occasionally involving cars, but mostly just slick production"
or maybe
"Top Gear: Cult of Personality can carry you for years after the talent has run out."

I'd like to see the news actually get back to the news! I enjoy the banter but car info is better.

As for the best car company deal, Top Gear has always done viewer vote things like this, it's tradition.

I'm the biggest TG fanboi, but the series so far has been meh+1. I was very disappointed they didn't track the Balboni, that is inexcusable. Saying that, the Stig is a God for getting that sack of shit around the track in 1.48 with two pirouettes.

the last episode of this series (#5 or 6) will be a no-budget show. it would be great if they just sat there talking about cars, but that's way too much to ask.

Yeah, this series is lacking a bit. I'm not a fan of all the staged parts because they're so blatant which isn’t humorous in the slightest.

I, too, would prefer more time spent actually reviewing the cars.

I didn't like the airport scene, just because it was staged. I felt like i was wasting my time watching it, haha o well

The episode wasn't that bad before, I actually had a good laugh but this one was a bit dull...
I feel they're probably hitting mainstream now, planning shows what majority is interested in

I thought it was one of the better episodes in awhile. I like the recurring jokes. You guys are getting to serious. It isn't a serious car show like 5th gear. It's supposed to be entertainment.
