American.Corvette(z06) = Win
British.Pompas(Opinion) = Phil
If Phil < Win
Do
Opinion = (Arrogance - 1)
British.Pompas(Opinion) = Phil
Loop Until Phil = Win
End If

My computer got stuck in the loop and burst into flames.

I'm going to ignore the other comments because they are not worthy of my pompous attention and instead devote all my energies to flaming people who can't spell and aren't British with bad teeth.

Exactly what I meant - a bunch of a sh*t that doesn't matter one iota. This is a track car that does an excellent job of thrashing more expensive exotics around a road course.

Dude, leave him be.

Afterall, he is from the UK and criticizing American cars.

Actually, the Japanese seem to be doing a better job of that than I could.

Oh donkey phallus, that's a typo.

Ok, it's a typo of what ? I heard him say something, but I don't know what he meant ?

It's supposed to be drivetrain shunt. AFAIK, it's the "shunt" effect you get when prodding the throttle; not smooth, violent.

Hi, Torque. I know you from somewhere.... oh, I used to have a diesel as a company car. Yeah, we've met. Tell me Torque, what's your friend talking about?

When he posted the Z06 lap time on the board, there didn't seem to be too many cars that were faster. Anyone know what cars are above the Z06, and how much they cost ?

As far as the "driveline shunt" in daily driving, maybe that guy shouldn't try driving in 5th gear all the time.

Hi, Torque here. You know that violent effect effect when you prodded the throttle? That was me pushing you hard against the back of your seat. Sorry about that!

1:17.6 ? Koenigsegg CCX (TG Wing)
1:18.4 ? Pagani Zonda F
1:18.9 ? Maserati MC12
1.19.0 ? Ferrari Enzo
1:19.5 ? Ariel Atom 2
1:19.8 ? Porsche Carrera GT
1:20.7 ? Ascari KZ1
1:20.4 ? Koenigsegg CCX 5(w/o Wing)
1:20.9 ? Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren
1:21.9 ? Ford GT
1:22.3 ? Ferrari 360 Challenge Stradale
1:22.3 ? Porsche 911 GT3 RS
1:22.4 ? Chevrolet Corvette Z06

Other than the Ariel Atom, they're all pretty much more than double, with a few of them ranging from 5-10x as much, give or take.

Come on! I know looks are subjective, but you're telling me you think the C6 ZO6 looks better than this? I actually think the C5 is a much handsomer car than the C6. It's a killer car, and great for the money, but it's no looker IMO.

Width of the car> Come on now. That car cant be any wider then the Ferrari's they compare it to, but of course its a problem because its an American car.
Tire noise? So effin what! Thats due to either the tires used (Dont like tire noise, get some road tires) or due to the dampening not used. Want no noise? Add 250 pounds of dampening, problem solved!

Radio? What the hell does he want in a radio?? Does it play music? Does it have a volume? I mean Christ, lets nit pick the smallest possible stuff just so we have something negative to say.

Yawp

Widths of cars mentioned in this thread:

Ferrari F430: 75.7"
Corvette Z06: 75.9"
Ford GT: 76.9"
Ferrari 612 Scaglietti: 77"

The Ferrari is called the 599, not the 612.

Awesome video... Watching it half way through, I thought... "The only way this could be cooler is if they had The Stig drive it"

And, then they did

Seriously, though... When are these guys finally going to do a fast lap on a Bugatti Veyron? It seems oddly absent from that top 10 list.

The Japanese criticize American cars? No, they just make better cars (and often build them in the US).

I actually like the UK, and watch a lot of your TV shows, but give me a break.
