no, you have no life.

Edit: lol one of his problems was its steering wheel was on the wrong side. He has problems of his own.

It's a UK-based show so prospective buyers would be in the UK. Why shouldn't he care that it's only available in LHD?

You probably have no idea how unbelievably dangerous it is to, for example, overtake someone on our twisty country roads when you can't see fook-all. So his point is 100% valid; if they want to sell the car in the UK then do it properly or not at all.

Bump for a decent Review of an amazing car. In defense of its bad ride and not being able to be driven comfortablely on the road, the car really was designed to be a track car. Its main competition is the 911 GT3 and the 360CS or what ever its called, and it competes very well.

Edit: I'd also like to add that even though the ride isn't as good as the 575, I don't think that justifies the $100,000 price difference.

Rather than jabbering on about interior quality and road noise and other crap that doesn't matter in a vehicle like this, he actually focused on vehicle performance. And performance is one thing the Z06 has in spades. Sweet car!

You forgot to mention the driveline shunt, radio, engine noise at low revs, tyre roar, width of the car, poor trim, ride is poor and so's the gearbox.

Width of the car> Come on now. That car cant be any wider then the Ferrari's they compare it to, but of course its a problem because its an American car.
Tire noise? So effin what! Thats due to either the tires used (Dont like tire noise, get some road tires) or due to the dampening not used. Want no noise? Add 250 pounds of dampening, problem solved!

Radio? What the hell does he want in a radio?? Does it play music? Does it have a volume? I mean Christ, lets nit pick the smallest possible stuff just so we have something negative to say.

Clarkson has a Ford GT, which is monstrously wide. So if he's bitching about the width, then it must be a problem.

It's probably the width of the tyres, so that's a moot point.

How about a satnav system that doesn't have a female American voice when the car's being sold outside of the US?

Hell, I like the car, and I don't like American cars. I'm just playing devil's advocate. That, and I'm bored at work and I like poking things to see what they do.

Exactly what I meant - a bunch of a sh*t that doesn't matter one iota. This is a track car that does an excellent job of thrashing more expensive exotics around a road course.

Have you ever seen a Ford GT in person? It's not "monstrously" wide. It's width really isn't abnormal - it just appears to be because of the height of the vehicle.

Dude, leave him be.

Afterall, he is from the UK and criticizing American cars.

Yeah. If you want a Corvette as a daily drive, get the regular one, as Clarkson says at the end. As for a daily driver with that 7.0L LS7, we'll have to see if that CTS version ever comes to fruition.

But really, who cares about that POS, we need the Blue Devil!

Agreed. I have one sitting about a quarter mile away from me. The car is actually very small.

I assume he is comparing it to really refined euro sport cars like a bmw M or Merc because I actually test drove one for a bit and I live with the Z06 as a daily driver. With that said, compared to all the muscele cars, the z06 great ride. Compared to Merc or BMW it the comfortability fell short. A vette is a monster/exotic car hunter and thats what you get.

American.Corvette(z06) = Win
British.Pompas(Opinion) = Phil
If Phil < Win
Do
Opinion = (Arrogance - 1)
British.Pompas(Opinion) = Phil
Loop Until Phil = Win
End If

My computer got stuck in the loop and burst into flames.
