local albertson's/lucky's stores are selling them 16 for a dollar now.

they're not so bad if you just use the noodles and throw away the seasoning.

i heard the same thing as Inguyen, about a kid who ate too much reman(Instant Noodle). Reason for his death was because of too much "plastic"(preservatives use to make the noodle in the package form). I guess his stomach suffocated. I could be wrong but that what i heard.

One way that might help get rid of some of those preservatives is to rinse the noodles with boiling water a few times before putting the final water in there for cooking. My dad always worries when we have ramen because he read in a newspaper many many years ago that the preservatives can be harmful if you have too much.
