Adobe stuff
AIM updates - I can't actually update, but it pops up whenever I start it
iTunes/Quicktime - it won't install on my machine, thus I use awesome Mediamonkey
WMP - It has trouble playing every file type. One day it simply refused to play almost any video from my pr0n folder. Wtf?

really? I don't find any of those annoying especially Adobe reader? I mean, how else can you read pdf files?
This your first day on the internet? Google "pdf reader" and pick any result at random. It will be better than Adobe.

It's hard to argue with any of those choices.
The only argument I'd make is that while Apple software pretty much blows chunks on Windows, it works well on Macs.

Either you have a super-advanced futuristic quantum computer which actually runs Outlook faster than a team of cavemen can chisel out the individual bytes of each email out of stone (unlikely), or you have the patience of a saint. A dead saint.

FoxIt reader. 10x as fast.
NO excuse for dog-slow software in this day and age. That's why Adobe Reader and Outlook really irk me.
