torrent sites?

hi guys. i am looking to download a specific episode of a show for a friend and i don't know what sites work anymore. can anyone assist? seems like googling anything with "torrent" in the search brings up a bunch of junk anymore. i'm just wondering if anyone knew of any decent working sites. i used to use mininova

Whichever site you use, make sure you visit it using firefox with noscript plugin installed!

That only works if you have access to them. I'm on Time Warner's Roadrunner cable modem service, and they dropped all access to newsgroups a few years ago. Really sucks, as I had some good ones I'd check from time to time.


OP, your best bet, sometimes, is simply to google the name of the show, as well as the episode. Say, if you're looking to find Heroes season 3 episode 4, you'd google "heroes s03 e03" (or similar). I've found plenty of downloads that way, when my normal sources would dry up.
