Ordered one last week and the darn thing broke 10 minutes into SW EP 2 (which was the first DVD I tried watching on it)... ugh. Picture froze and it started making noises like it was choking to death on the DVD.. lol. Now it just says disc error for anything I put in it :\

I heard it's a nice player though, so I'm hoping I just got REAL unlucky and got a defective or damaged one. It's covered by a 90 day parts and labor warranty by Toshiba, so I can take it somewhere and get it fixed for free... or just have Amazon.com send UPS to pick it up and send me a new one (anyone ever done that before?). Anyone else have similar trouble with theirs?

Personally I'd contact Amazon... less hassle if they come through (which they normally do)...

Watched several movies on it since I purchased it last week... it seems to be a very good DVD player. Aside from the possible reliability issue above, the quality is there.
