Please, don't mess with a poor store manager. A better idea is to find out which company represent Best Buy in your state. For example, C T Corporation System is the agent for Best Buy and a few other national businesses in Missouri. I got a feeling that CT, a company that been around since 1936, has offices in few major cities. Those who run the business might get upset if a series of small claim cases with CT named as Best Buy representive suddenly was filed.

I'm no lawyer and this maybe all BS. But, when someone calls from Best Buy or CT, I be saying that I'm going to contact my state's AG and also MN AG to file a complaint against Best Buy. Then casually mention that you might attempt to call Gov. Ventura, since he seems to be for the little guy.

I don't have no dog in this fight. I figured that BB would do a CYA on the issue.

BestBuy has had pricing errors before on many many hot deals. And the results are that they will NOT ship these orders out. Calling or not calling doesn't make any difference. If you cannot make the order online, then you would want to call because that's the ultimate solution for you scavengers. Otherwise, you get nothing! But.... I'd like to know if any of you guys got this deal through? 'Cause $675 free shipping for a 61" Toshiba is not only a Steal Deal but a Rape Deal indeed!

For everyone that had the TV in your cart, but was removed after they fixed the price........check back....I went and looked this morning and the TV was back in my cart at the $675.50 price. I am still trying to order....but delivery not an option....trying to do store pickup.....will let you know what happens. The price shows $1699 when I click on the item though....strange!
Did anyone find an area that it was available in? I have used several addresses of people I know in Florida and upstate New York.....but no go.....help!!!! If I can find somewhere it can be delivered I will give the person who accepts the delivery $100 and the money to have it reshipped to me.......in Texas....

I have check various zip codes in large metro area and come up with nothing....I am going to call customer service and find out where it is available......when checking out just click the In Store Pickup check box instaed of a shipping option.....


Called Customer Service....not available online....maybe in a store, but they have no way to check....just keep trying zip codes un til you find it.....

This deal is obviously not gonna happen. Look, I'd love to have a 61" tv for $675, but they made a mistake and corrected it shortly thereafter. Does anyone really want this TV bad enough to try to gouge them for $1000? Besides, it doesn't sound like anyone was actually able to complete the purchase, so I don't know what legal grounds one would have to complain. They didn't take your money, you didn't get a TV. I'll be absolutely floored if anyone gets this tv for $675.
