Just ordered this one, will receive it soon.

I would like to know if this system has been used by anyone and what are the drawbacks if any??

Basically I want to game and I do a lot of graphics (photoshop and stuff - maybe 20 - 25 layers)

The only thing I notice is the resolution of the screen Resolution 1280 x 800, is kinda small ifor 15.4 Wide?
I'm no expert on computer graphics, etc, but wouldn't you want something better for this purpose ?

I HATE Toshiba since I had one of their top of the line ultraportables.
A laptop manufactured in 2003 (without internal CD- or DVD-ROM) that DOESN'T support booting from USB?
Are they F***ING NUTS?

Stay away from toshiba.
Crappy customer support to top it off.

I would have at least bought a laptop with a larger resolution for Photoshop and a more robust GPU for gaming. I haven't any personal experience with Toshiba, but I've never heard an outstanding comment on their Laptops.

tks newbiepcuser and rockinacoustic - can anyone of you suggest something in this price range with a better screen rez. I think thats really true, the rez is small
But I did go for Toshiba coz I've had one for the last 5 years and it still works good (I know how to maintain it), but the Teac drives that were being used then are not available anymore and my DVD combo drive is not working on my old one....
But the damn laptop is fast..... i think the screen rez could be better...... any other suggestions anybody will be appreciated.

hey Georifle...... nice find... 1GB Vid. card sounds really good, vid resolution is better, I bought the Toshiba for $1049 and the Asus is $1299, is it worth $250 in diff.??
