Bump for the best RTS game of all time. Most people prefer StarCraft, and I'll admit, the cinematics for that game were much better, as was the story, but the in-game graphics, gameplay, and vast selection of units (275+ total) for TA were MUCH better than anything StarCraft could kick out.

Great deal on a great game - I've actually gone back to play this game after 2 years this time to play the ARM side. Despite it's age, it definitely gets you hooked and the graphics ain't bad either. I agree, some maps especially in the CORE side get a bit hard even on easy mode - makes you wanna come back and essentially annihilate the enemy.

I don't have the expansion packs so I'm missing out on some cool units and missions - I'm going to check out their B&M and hope to find one. Thanks for the post.

When this game came out my friends and I were taken by this game like none other. It was a total blast, especially how every multiplayer game took 4+ hours! It got ugly. Alas though starcraft came out and we soon forgot TA but every so often we would feel a need to play the sucker. It still rocks.
TA: Kingdoms was probably the biggest dissapointment of my gaming life, it sucked in comparison. I'm sorry but it was to slow, the battle control was weak, and I just wanted ta:2 not no kingdoms.

Awesome deal, I got one of these on the cheap somewhere a few years back...the game is awesome, the expansions provide great maps and the strategy guide is huge. Online 3rd party units are always fun...bit harder to find now though...luckily I had em on an old pc. Worth every penny...

For some reason it's missing something StarCraft had that made it Great but nonetheless this game is a classic. The graphics are good too...something you wouldn't usually expect from a game this old.

I bought this same pack a few months ago at my local EB for $7. The guy working there had no idea they even had those and how cheap they were, and he set aside one for himself. It hooked me for a good three weeks or so. Definitely worth the $7. And, yes, it does work under Windows 2000, because that's what I've been running it at.

Check your local EB's (comb it carefully) to save on shipping. $7 is a hotter deal than $11. ...although, $11 is still very sweet for this game.
