Erm, technically, it doesn't have a dot's per inch.
Your printer has a dots per inch because it prints in a per-pixel fashion. This would be more akin to a vector printer, no dot's, just lines.
You could hold the nozzel down and make one big line (as they did with the outter circle) with a printer you couldn't do that, it would print dots in a line by line fashion.
It would actually be kinda nice to switch our printers over to this style of printing, except for the fact that you would have to wait alot longer
