Well I only have your word on that. But it works better on the TouchPad. As in... it's smoother.

Will this help out the lag issues?
Doubt it, its more than likely the software.
Didn't the article mention an OTA software update?
They said its going to roll out in less than 10 days...im eagerly awaiting to see if they can pull this off. Im still waiting for an update for my Veer.
Hopefully Anandtech will do a full review of the Touchpad after the software update. My Pre Plus has had 2 updates through verizon, then I installed 2.1. Each update provided a nice performance boost to my phone, especially 2.1.
wow... wondering what all the people who purchased the touchpad is thinking.... is it a new CPU? or is it just an overclock to 1.5GHz?
I was under the impression the qualcomm chip used is indeed a 1.5ghz chip, and everyone using it has underclocked it to 1.2ghz. Maybe they just ran it at stock speeds?
Well I only have your word on that.
Thats exactly what im thinking...they should just do the update for the original touchpad to 1.5ghz for the standard clock.
wow... just messed with a touchpad FINALLY. And boy, it's not bad at all! The only "slowness" i've found was pinch and zooming. Scrolling wasn't bad at all, moving through apps was fairly smooth! Wow... you'll never know until you tried it! I'd say, it's *almost* there! There were some hiccups during picture swiping...
well, hp delivered on the new patch. Things are great, the is a difference. Looks like they speed up a lot of the animations. Things feel a bit snappier.
I'm still on the fence due to price. I have an Asus Transformer that I'm willing to sell because I find Android to be pretty meh. But, it was also $100 cheaper than the Touchpad which led to my decision in the first place. I love WebOS, so I'm guessing if it goes on sale <$400 I'll probably end up pulling the trigger on it.
