Toughest question to ask ever.

How do I ask my girlfriend to lose some weight? She has put on about 20 lbs in the past 2 years, and she is small framed at 5'2. She is really gorgeous, but I want her thin again. How do I bring this up without making it insulting or hurtful to her? I have thought about the "Let's go work out" stuff, but I don't need to work out, I'm in good shape and not overweight.

Don't ask her to do it, cuz she'll resent you, and it'll make a big mess. You were on the right track, suggest active things like working out, going hiking or running together. And if you're in good shape already, why not be in better shape?

Oh man that's a REAL toughie... I think the only safe way is the "Let's go work out" solution. Though you don't have to work out, I don't think it'll hurt you if you do. Plus it'll get both of you in shape and that IS what you want

Then dump her.

Explain why you are dumping her. Be specific. "You look like a fu©king cow."

Motivate her to lose weight. "If you look vaguely human again, I may take you back."

weight shouldn't be a reason to split up a real relationship. If the relationship means more than the weight, shut up and live with it. If you're a shallow motherfxxker, then ask her to lose weight. Exercising with her is a good thing, but do it on the basis of spending time with her because you love her -not because you want her to lose weight.

If you have a problem with her weight, talk to her about it. Be direct. None of this panzy ass I'm-a-pussy sh!t. Communicate.

If you want to keep her and dont want to hurt her feelings, then try an approach into sports. Something that you both can do together.
Swimming or scuba diving, is great excercise and she will also get a tan.....
Your town should have some type of center that has organized sports to join.
Hikeing and rock climbing are also fun.

Just keep this in mind, you stated that you were in shape and she was not. Use yourself as the excuse something like
" could you come and help motivate me so I will keep going".

If not then put her in front of the PC and shoot me a PM and I will tell her...............
