I hope we see a 6800GT with this type of cooler also, from Abit perhaps.

It is my understanding that the default design of the GT is single slot. Are you saying that most manufacturer's will opt for a bigger fan/heatsink that will make it two slots?

are you serious? thats a VGA silencer i.e. near silent cooler
No, I am only hoping that one manufacturer opts for a cooling solution that exhausts the 100W+ outside the case instead of back inside. Most of the cards will probably use the single slot reference design.Originally posted by: LeChuck59

Your post tells me a great deal about you. You started it with HO and then said Brittany Spears, so I know you are under 25 and like 'em easy  furthermore, you favor things with caliber in the nameOriginally posted by: ForceCalibur
HOrrible name. I'd buy the excalibur anyday, unless price difference/performance difference is high. Unless they put Britney Spears instead of that alien, then I'd buy it

Its funny how when an ATI partner releases a dual slot design, everyone just kinda goes with it. And then when nVidia does the same, its OMFG YOU GUYS LOOK HOW HUGE IT IS IT SUCKS BALLS!
