I am going to get a car with good gas mileage.
The Honda Insight seems very impractical, like a CRX with even less room and power.
The Toyota seems OK, but is not too peppy. However, I'm used to a p-o-s Ford Escort so it's not a big deal. I just don't like the fact that it's separate trunk with no pass thru.
The Volkswagon Jetta Turbo Diesel for some reason doesn't meet California's emission standards, although the gas mileage is 50% better than their standard Jetta. Not that it matters to me what California's standards are (since I live in Canada), but I just find that interesting. Why is that?
All are in the sub $30000 CAD price range (around US$20000 or less).
